"Pros: Sitio excelente. Nosotros estuvimos en la casa del jacuzzi y no tuvimos queja. La cocina tiene de todo (tostador, exprimidor manual, batidora, sartenes, ollas, paños de cocina, fairy..). El acceso al pueblo es una pendiente bastante empinada, y el aparcamiento compartido con la otra casa para dos coches un poco justo, pero igual se puede aparcar un poco más arriba. Regina fue muy amable y nos proporcionó información sobre qué ver en los alrededores."

"Pros: La casa estaba muy limpia, equipada con todo lo necesario. La habitación y la cocina-sala-comedor eran bastante amplias para ser un apartamento más bien pequeño. Se nos dejaron a nuestra disposición pastillas para el lavavajillas, detergente para los platos y otros productos de limpieza. Había una terraza muy agradable con barbacoa. "The Picos de Europa Suites and Rooms are a few minutes drive from Potes. Our suite was spacious and comfortable although the hot weather meant that we didn’t feel like using the whirlpool bath. We didn’t take the breakfast option but drove into Potes. Laura gave us a list of restaurant recommendations and the two which we used were very good. She also gave us ideas for places to go sightseeing and hiking. She and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the fantastic scenery."

"I travelled to the hotel on a motorcycle through mountain roads in the hope of seeing the total solar eclipse on 12th August. The place impressed from the start, Welcoming receptionist and an aesthetic vibe unlike anywhere I've stayed, and the room merited the superior' tag - with a sumptuous bathroom, offering an unprecedented (for me) shower experience. Wonderful after the effort of getting there. A multinational group of guests enhanced the sense of being somewhere very special. The view on arrival evening was sunny and sublime, but alas a change of wind direction, as forecast, resulted in us being enveloped in cloud almost all the following day, including during the eclipse. Breakfast was freshly prepared and provided a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet, including fresh fruits. A heavy cold confined me to the immediate vicinity after walking down into Villaviciosa for food and some drink as the bar service was closed due to the staff being limited on eclipse evening, but our in-room refrigerators were kindly stocked with drinks to compensate. I wish, on reflection, that I had stayed a third night, not only because of the cold symptoms, but because it was such a relaxing setting. Another year, also, I would not choose months other than August for visiting the area again. Visit again I will, though!"
