Rooms are clean, grounds are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a bit dated.

Clean room and mostly friendly staff, with a few exceptions. The morning continental breakfast was a bit of a letdown; it felt like it was thrown together. Oddly, we weren't even told we could order a hot breakfast until we were checking out, so we assumed the continental was all that was available based on how the morning restaurant staff presented things. This is a lovely property, though some cracks are starting to show with age. Overall, a wonderful experience. And I can't say it enough: the valets are exceptional, both in their friendliness and their helpfulness.

Shocking this is a four star hotel and quite disappointed. The carpet in the hallways are carpet squares that are stained and literally coming up in areas with visible nails looking like they tried to nail sections down. I went down to get a coffee early in the morning and they told me I couldn’t charge it to the room and I had to go back up to get physical payment. The gym was disgusting, tread mills not working, filthy, even the cleaning wipes were all dried out. Staff was friendly but other than that, this hotel should not be advertised as a four star. I would definitely never stay here again.
