American Cemetery

This hotel was such a lovely surprise. We sometimes stay in the Campanile in Calais which really needs a refurbishment but is fine for our needs however, this was lovely. The rooms are big, we were in a heatwave and the air conditioning was bliss, the man on reception was really welcoming and we were comfortable. Can't ask for more.

We were warmly greated by multilingual receptionist who went out of her way to provide a table in shade whilst final preparations were completed in the room. A cool drink was ordered after a long hard trip in high heat.

Nice and clean hotel, decent rooms and size. The bathroom had a smell to it. Whoever decided to use a fixed bracket for the showerhead which points straight down, meaning you you have to stand almost touching the wall, is an idiot.
