Built in the 17th century Bakestones was once the premises of the oldest grocer shop in England and retains many of its original features including the original Baker\`s oven. With a secure garage, Bakestones is one of the few holiday cottages in the centre of the village to boast on site parking. Bakestones sleeps four across 3 bedrooms, a large King and two single rooms, one single with a vanity basin and one single with a feel of a secret room up stairs in the eaves. Bakestones has a well equipped kitchen diner at the heart of the cottage, 2 steps lead down to the generous living room with vaulted ceilings and original exposed oak beams. Bakestones is a split level property, steps up to to the ground floor entrance, with most of the accommodation on the first floor level.
