Spectacular views of the rolling hillside and only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Grasmere. The house is really well equipped. Large garden is beautiful and even has a stream running through it. On the edge of Grasmere with it's plentiful cafes and famous ginger shop! The garden is great, BBQ and firepit are provided and there's lots of seating etc... The house has plenty of space. Unfortunately, the upstairs leaves a lot to be desired! Lots of mold and cobwebs everywhere, we were really disappointed given the amount of money we had paid. The smaller room was by far the worst, tiles off in the shower, mold on the carpet (just really shabby) I would never have booked to stay here if I had known the state of it.
