We were a party of 6 and all of us were happy with the house. It is perfect for a visit to Ambleside as it has everything you need nearby. It's is also well situated for visiting the lakes in general. Parking is at the local football pitch and is within a 5 minute walk with permits provided. It is well stocked. Stairs are involved to get to the first floor which is worth knowing in case you have anyone with mobility issues in your group. We were originally a bit nonplussed by the fact that the parking is a 5 minute walk away from the property (there is room to load and unload when you arrive and leave) but it turns out that the parking location is perfect for avoiding some of the crazy queued traffic which crawls through Ambleside at busy times and the walk to and from it is through a beautiful park. The apartment is great with everyone having en suite bathrooms. I've always stayed at places managed by their individual owners before and was a bit put off by the impersonal communications from this property management company but it turned out fine and we had a lovely time. ##### Nicholas R.
