"The room was spacious and clean. The staff were really friendly and a couple of them spoke english so that was reallly helpful. The location is convenient. A few minute walk down to the main restaurants and bars. The walk can be a little dark, so have your camera flashlight handy. It is a really safe area, no issues at all. The only 2 issues i had were that the tv didn't work, only the menu page loaded but no channels and i tried having a hot bath, but there was no hot water. Either than that, the hotel is great. Would definitely recommend it."

"Upon arrival we had to wait for the receptionist Racida for 30’minutea to show up. Instead of apologizing she started to raise her volume to explain why she left, despite us specifically mentioning the time of arrival. We called the owner to complain and she didn’t seem to care. We had very low speed internet signal in the studio, with WiFi frequently disconnecting; we got anywhere from 1 to 11 mbps, due to a low power WiFi extender. We experienced nightly power cuts - no automatic power backup. William the gate keeper decided he did not want to turn on the generator because it would disturb the neighbors! We had to make calls at 12 midnight to his supervisor to tell him to turn on the generator! Anothe rnight he again decided not to turn on power. I went out and called out to him repeatedly while he slept in the upstairs apartment and ignored me. Unbelievable behavior. The cleaning lady too wasn’t friendly - she took the pool towels on day 1 and never returned them. This is all reflection of a disconnected owner who clearly doesn’t care not trains low level staff how to behave with customers from other countries. No matter how nice a place looks these "

"The room was clean. The room was spacious. Ther was a swimming pool right outside the room. The location was amazing and the hotel had a magnificent sun bathing deck right on the water line with a fantastic view ang great sunset. No other hotel in the bay had this. "We would definitely recommend the Royal Beach Hotel if you're thinking of staying in Nosy Be. As well as being a lovely, clean and enjoyable place to stay, the staff were what made it for us. Everyone from the team on reception, the dinning staff to the gardeners, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They all made sure we were well catered for. The staff also really showed up for us when our flights were cancelled. They went above and beyond to help us find alternative routes home and made sure to keep rooms for us in case our flights were cancelled again...which they were. Our only note would be, if you go for the All Inclusive package, confirm with the hotel that it includes everything you are expecting from the package. We decided against the All Inclusive on arrival and the hotel accommodated us and refunded that part of the bill. The hotel was great and there's lots to do around the area. Go for the experience and stay for the staff. Have a great time in Nosy Be. "

"Top notch food, customer service, facilities, and atmosphere. The food is delicious and rotates every meal. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean. Customer service is great and the staff do their best to accommodate. We had a 4 year old and a 9 month old and they put an extra bed in the room for us. I highly recommend the excursion to Nose Iranja, not only will you see a beautiful beach but you’ll also get a fantastic seafood lunch arranged by the hotel. Fabrice saved us as we were struggling to communicate with the staff in French. He checked on us regularly and helped us with special arrangements that we needed. The hotel offers several entertainment activities including aquatics, dancing, and fire show at night. Highly recommend this place especially for families."
