"We rented the villa for 5 days over the Christmas Holiday. The property is on a top of a hill, nested in a quaint and luscious garden with an awesome sunset view. The villa is exactly like in the picture with a beautiful authentic design, spacious enough to accommodate perfectly our family of 8. "We had a wonderful stay of 7 nights at the Royal Andilana Resort & Spa. We requested for a room with the best possible view of the ocean and the Hotel fulfilled our request. Very much grateful for that. The rooms, the clealiness, the efficiency of all the staff from the cleaning team to the waiters has been top notch. The restaurant has such a wide spread of food, you are spoilt for choice. They keep you entertained every evening. All the excursions that we went on with the Sounds Team were very well organised. They have maintained their beach and love ly waters to swim in. We enjoyed the massages at the spa and I must say the masseuses were excellent. We have nothing to complain about. We had a very enjoyable stay. Many thanks to the Management and staff of the Royal Andilana Resort and Spa. "

"This was my first visit to the island resort. They were very welcoming from the start. Even though I didn’t speak the local language, they were very pleasant and polite. The accommodations were very nice and private. The food menu had many choices and appealed particularly to the French and Italian people. They only suggestion I would give is to have another menu to rotate into the mix. The beach was beautiful and very accessible to the hotel guests. The walk to the beach is super close. There was always a tuk-tuk driver available to take us to town and they were always friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this hotel but be prepared for the many short “normal” power outages that occur daily. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The facilities are nice. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and all of the activities, but set up the hill away from all the noisiness of the beach and the clubs at the beach.The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to the area. My only one small issue was that food and mini bar items can’t be paid for with credit card at the end of the stay, it has to be cash, which was not initially stated, so make sure you have enough cash or are able to use one of the local electronic payment types. Overall, I think this is one of the best accommodations in the Nosy Be area."

"The resort was beautiful. The beach, the pool were fantastic and the rooms were good. They offered some good excursions and the kids club team were great with our daughter. On the negative side, Andilana Beach Resort targets a very specific demographic, Italians. This should have been highlighted as everything was in Italian, including all the entertainment, which limited our enjoyment. The language barrier was also a bit of a challenge, as we spoke very little Italian and most of the staff spoke limited English. The food was also specific to the demographic with more pasta and pizza on offer than we could handle. There were a few other options, but the quality was average. The resort could benefit from incorporating more local cuisine more regularly. We did get local options on the excursions, which was really good. Overall, the resort was great, the staff were great, but we struggled with the fact that everything was in Italian, which we did not expect from a French speaking territory."

"I must admit that I was a little concerned that staying at a resort so isolated we might be “ prisoner “ to over priced food and drinks. My fears could not be further from the truth. The food and drink here is very reasonably priced, and very good. The chef comes to you, yes he comes and finds you, then you order your meal, and arrange the time you would like to eat and you sit down, the meal arrives. Everything here is done with the guest in mind. The day trips offered cover everything you would want to see, the resort has its own boat, so it’s easy to arrange whatever you would like to do. Phillip is always available to answer your questions. He’s been doing this a long time, there are loads of staff on the property. If you would like to spoil yourself in an unspoiled paradise book book book"
