Ok stay, but some details did not match a 5-star luxury suite experience Overall, our stay was okay, and there were some very positive aspects. The service at the outdoor restaurant was great, and the spa service was exceptional. That said, considering this is a 5-star hotel and the Pomegranate Suite is presented as a luxury/high-end room, there were several details that could be improved. We had just spent a week at Sani Dunes, and the contrast was noticeable. A small touch such as fresh flowers, which is usually expected in this type of room, was missing. The QR code for ordering food from the room did not work and showed a “page not found” error. Some areas of the room also felt outdated, with a few items appearing broken, rusty, or worn. The bedroom could also benefit from modernization, especially as there was nowhere convenient to charge a phone. In addition, there appeared to be a water leak under one of the bathroom sinks, as we found a wet towel with a stain on it. The hotel has strong potential, and some areas provide excellent service, especially the spa. However, in other areas, the service felt less warm and not as service-oriented as expected for a hotel of this level.

The Resort Manager, Juleana was amazing, extremely kind and helpful. Tried her best to accommodate us. The cleaning staff was good. The hotel is extremely old and the rooms are not renovated. The plumbing needs to be redone. My shower did not drain the water quickly although maintenance came up twice with a toilet plunger to plunge the water. When turning on the water in the shower the head moves and spray the water out of the tub. You have to hold the shower spray when taking a shower. The cooling in the room was noisy. The hallway vents dripped due to humidity and condensation. The elevator landing and hallways smells terribly and lacks cooling. The grounds are not maintained and the resort do not have valet parking, no welcome drinks when you check in and the area by the ice cream store smells of fish. The location is excellent only for the beach and the entire staff works extremely hard to accommodate the guest. The end result is that the hotel owner needs to spend the money to renovate the resort. The staff can only do so much. Mr. Carras, if you renovate the resort and have water activities plus have better selection of restaurants we will return. Until then, Noooo….I would definitely hire Juleana to work for me in NYC to manager million dollar luxury buildings because she is a darn good manager. She knows her job well.

A lovely, family-run hotel located right in the heart of Polychrono. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you aren’t familiar with where the hotel’s parking area is, so it’s worth checking in advance. The hotel is somewhat dated and could definitely benefit from a renovation, but everything is well maintained, functional, and serves its purpose. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was fresh and offered a nice variety of options. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the family-run atmosphere made it feel welcoming and memorable. My only recommendation would be to consider the location carefully when choosing the hotel, as Polychrono itself may not appeal to everyone. Personally, I think the hotel would be even more enjoyable if it were located in a different town. That said, thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

The food does not meet 5-star hotel standards—certainly not those of an "Ultra All-Inclusive" resort. At breakfast, there are no yogurts or high-quality pastries, and the variety is lacking. Dinner is nothing short of embarrassing; it falls far short of 5-star quality. The selection is very limited, and the flavors are extremely basic. Quite a few things are missing... As for room service—you have to request it, and even then, the service is very basic. In short, the place is nice, but there is room for improvement. To me, it felt like a mediocre 4-star hotel, nothing more. It has a lovely pool and a good location—though a car is definitely necessary.
