"Breakfast was minimal. The gravy for biscuits was cold.
Hotel had pool but it was not open. Stayed at the hotel for a baseball tournament, team wanted a pool and that was one reason this hotel was chosen. After several customers made a complaint, pool was opened.
Tried to call front desk several times but no one answered.
Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was good. Would stay at the hotel again because complaints for this stay were not really a deal breaker, just disappointing."
"The property is so unique and beautiful, there’s not another place like it! Staff was welcoming, the onsite restaurant was excellent, and we loved that everything you want to see and do is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and modern, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We’re already making plans to come back!"
"The room was quaint and comfortable. The large bathroom was appreciated. The reservation, arrival, and checkout absolutely seamless. We were traveling through from South Dakota to Ohio, it was the perfect middle point to stop. The town is absolutely pristine and looked delightful. We hope to return and stay a few days just to visit your lovely town and shop the shops. What a gem you have. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your fine establishment"
"This hotel was absolutely perfect for me. I stayed one night while travelling from Minneapolis to St. Louis. This is a fairly large property and is a haven for visitors and families to the nearby Hospital. My check in (a little early) was a breeze and I got settled in a room equipped with a hot tub, king bed, a larger TV and renovated bathroom. The hotel offers an included "supper" - on my visit was tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches with a side salad, along with cookies and lemonade for dessert. The most comfortable meal imaginable - suitable for adults and kids. The menu is listed for the week (Mo-Th), so longer term guests know what to expect. After dinner, I tried the hot tub in my room and it was nice and relaxing. Made for a great sleep on a most comfortable bed. Good, deep sleep - I woke up truly refreshed. The hotel also offers an included breakfast with several options including cereal, eggs and sausages, waffles, yogurt, fruit and two whiz bang coffee machines that make all types of specialty coffees. The hotel generally was a peaceful atmosphere and the hallways and nearby rooms were quiet. I honestly couldn't imagine how it could have been any better. The price was incredibly reasonable for what was provided. They even have a free shuttle to/from the hospital (which I didn't use) but appreciated the thoughtfulness of having it available for families and visitors."
