"Staff was friendly and helpful. Information booklet provided in room very helpful with operating all of the remotes included in the room. No TVs helped create a truly dark sky environment. WiFi spotty so Star gazing apps might not work as planned. If you want to identify constellations, recommend bringing a paper star finder with a red light. It is worth the cost of a nights stay being able to see so many stars and the Milky Way."

"The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool and breakfast buffet were located across the street at another facility so not very convenient. We checked out and drove over to the free breakfast buffet, which was good with quite a few choices like biscuits and gravy, French toast, scrambled eggs with ham."

"Great location. Well maintained retro motel. Great staff. There were flash flooding concerns in the area and they offered to relocate us to another nearby property at no charge if we felt concerned. The river was down quite a bit by the time we checked in so it was not necessary to move."

"Rustic cabins which creates the relaxed atmosphere that you expect at a ranch BUT the amenities border on 4 Star. Helpful staff, Great in room amenities and the views are worth the price. On property restaurant provides upscale dining in a rustic, ranch environment. Great place to un-plug and have restoration time or explore the canyons."

"Jim and family have created a quaint cabin stay in Mt. Carmel. You can enter Zion from the east entrance and take the Zion Scenic drive to the south entrance and visitor's center. Other than a little road noise, its a very quiet, peaceful spot. The cabins are co.fortable and well stocked if you want to make a light meal. There aren't a lot of dining options nearby, but the included breakfast was good."
