We’ve been staying here very year for years and we love it!! Great relaxing fun place place for the entire family. Looking forward to staying there for many more years to come!
This is a beautiful cabin on a small, quiet lake. Very scenic, calm and tranquil…no motorboats or other loud watercraft. Perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Lots of outdoor deck space.
Cabin 7 is gorgeous!!! Very spacious and homey. Perfect for a family getaway. This cabin is secluded from the other cabins, has its own private dock and everything you could ever need. The Lake is VERY pretty, peaceful and relaxing...We had an amazing time and our only regret is not booking for a longer stay!
Our 3 families stayed in cottages 6 and 7. Despite chilly, rainy weather we still had some great kayaking experiences. The cottages are cozy, well-maintained and thoughtful in their design and comfort. We had a fabulous time. Brian is an easy-to-reach owner ready to take care of any questions or needs. Thank you Brian!
Beautiful!!! This is the spot I think of when I think of vacation. The seclusion, the view, the space in the house, absolutely wonderful. My husband and his buddies went salmon fishing while I enjoyed my peace and quiet. Brian was quick with responses when messaged, the house was clean on arrival, and it stayed cozy on the cold rainy days we had. Plan on staying again for next year!
Our family was attending a wedding at Tailwater Lodge which was a short 7 minute drive. This was a fabulous advantage. Upon entering the home there was a group sigh of relief, as it is beautifully designed and immaculate. The correspondence from the owner was efficient, helpful and friendly. The home is situated in a quiet rural setting surrounded by lush landscaping. While we did not have the time for the water recreation, it looked great! Honestly the home is far more spacious than we anticipated, and the open floor plan is so inviting. If your travels bring you to this area, you won't be disappointed!
We were looking for a place that could accommodate 7 people, so choices were limited. Luckily I found Brian's place, and it was very nice. The pictures were accurate in the listing, the place was clean. We had one small issue and I texted the owner, he addressed the issue the next morning, so communication was very good. The house sits overlooking a small lake which was nice, and was secluded. It was about 5 minutes to the small town of Altmar - Dollar General and a couple restaurants/bars, about 20 minutes to Pulaski where there are more options for food, dining, and shopping. We enjoyed the fire pit one night as it rained the other nights, he had wood there to purchase for the pit. We're looking forward to returning.
Autumn lake was one of the best fishing spots I have ever been to in my life!! This house was very nice and fit our needs well. 6 adults and a large dog had plenty of space and privacy. We could hear other campers down the road but rarely saw them. My dog enjoyed the wooded areas near the the camp for walking. The boats and kayaks were awesome for exploring this secluded lake. We went fishing at 8pm and we were the only ones on the water. Small dock woth the house. Swimming area rocky and weedy but that did not stop us at all from swimming. Lake looks dark in some places but actually we were impressed with how clean the lake is. Several places you can see the bottom and fish. Plenty of parking and 2 nice fire pits. Would stay here again!!
This house was very comfortable for our family of 3 kids and 5 adults. The basement was great for kids to play (even though it was cold) and our snowmobile coats and boots.
Another amazing stay! Brian is outstanding and the cottages at autumn lake are always perfect. The fishing was great. So many laughs and memories made again at the amazing lakefront cottages!
