Walking in, you notice this cottage's warm feeling, from the pine walls to the inviting furniture. You will want to put your feet up as soon as you arrive. This cottage sleeps two on a queen bed with an open "studio" style feel. Our cottage is decorated with bright and warm colors, which makes it feel very cozy. There is a small gas fireplace that feels so nice on winter nights. There is handcrafted artwork on the walls. We have an indoor hammock to relax on. No matter what the weather is outside, you can still enjoy it. There is a full kitchen to prepare your meals and a large bar for seating or meal preparation. The bathroom has a separate sink/ vanity for getting ready and a 5' tiled shower. The cottage has a closet and dresser drawers to tidy your clothes for your stay. You can see the small portion of the lake from the kitchen windows, but this cottage isn't "lakefront." You can walk to the lake in less than one minute. The attached patio is just outside the glass sliding doors, where you can grill your dinner on the provided gas grill. There is a firepit for this cottage down the steps and gravel path. As our guests, you'll have access to three docks, a man-made beach, and a charming pergola at the beach. We provide boats free of charge for those who love the water, ensuring everyone can enjoy the lake. Life jackets are also provided for your safety and peace of mind (bring special sizes). The docks, beach, and boats are shared. We have lots of boats; no one will go without them. We provide essential cookware and kitchen tools, dishes, and flatware, a microwave, toaster, and regular coffee maker, dining room-bar seating, great room living room space, leather sofa, chairs, daybed, trundle, queen bed, ceiling fans, heat, AC, sheets, quilts or comforters, standard pillow, and bath towels. We even provide a couple of rolls of TP and paper towels. We've considered everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We understand that your furry friends are part of your family, and we're delighted to welcome them at Bella Vista on Autumn Lake! Bring a maximum of 2 pets (with an additional $100 pet fee) and let them enjoy the vacation with you. Convenience is key! Our location is just approximately 10 minutes away from Pulaski, NY, offering easy access to restaurants and groceries. Less than 2 minute's drive to Salmon River, where you can fish the world-renowned waters (Fly Entry) A couple minutes to Tailwater Lodge & Spa Approx. 5 minutes to Salmon River Falls. MUST SEE On the C5 trail for out-the-door riding on Tug Hill Trails. 10 min ride to ATV meet up at Altmar Union Station. 30-40 minutes to Destiny Mall Walking Distance to Lower Salmon River Reservoir (across the street from our entrance) Parking: Near your cottage. Trailer-friendly: We're more than equipped to handle trailers of most sizes. Just give us a heads-up in advance. Please enjoy the entire cottage and furnishings, including the fire pit, grill, and attached deck. We also have Wi-Fi for guests who need to work from the house (it works great, but we can't guarantee service). This cottage is connected to our storeroom but has a separate entrance and is not shared with guests. Please note that I might occasionally be in the storeroom for laundry. Autumn Lake has gravel walkways, a lake shore and a man-made beach, three docks, a sitting overlook, a pergola, several boats, flotation devices, and a brook shared with La Bella Vista guests. The boats available include kayaks and flat-bottom row boats. Cottage 3 is Located in the center of the Bella Vista campus behind cottages 1 and 2. Although there are no stairs inside or to the entrance, please note that it is not wheelchair accessible. Also, note that there are stairs from the back deck to the firepit. There are gravel paths to the lake on the property. Contactless check-in after 4 pm. Rent this cottage for two or combine it with another in La Bella Vista for larger groups. Enjoy La Bella Vista on Autumn Lake with your extended family & friends! Autumn Lake is catch & release to preserve great fishing for years. Fisherman, WELCOME; please, no corkers on the decks or indoors. No fish cleaning on the property (fees will be assessed). Smoking outside only. Pets must remain leashed, flea-treated all seasons, and not allowed on furniture. No dangerous breeds for insurance reasons. To avoid any potential disruptions, we highly recommend considering trip insurance. Insurance can provide peace of mind, whether it's a health issue, a family emergency, or any other unforeseen circumstance. Please take a look at our cancellation policy. Suggestions to Pack: Bring body soap, shampoo, spices, cooking oils and condiments, salt/ pepper, and sugar. Bring floats to float around Autumn Lake. Bring fishing gear, beach towels & water shoes Bring grillware, foil & brush Bring matches and a fire starter log. Bring special pillows, pots, and pans you may need. We sell wood on-site (seasonally). Please bring cash or ask me to add it to your reservation. It's a self-service site. Note seasonal ATV trail closures and vehicle restrictions. Trails are typically open from April to mid-October, but exact dates vary. They are closed permanently during hunting season. It has everything you need, except the food, of course!! The only issue we had; which wasn't really an issue, we blew a fuse and it was reset right away. The only suggestion to the owners would be to put blinds in the little windows to keep the morning daylight from waking you early!! The cottage was lovely - actually better than I expected compared to other cottages that I've stayed at that were more "rustic". Entered to a very clean scent and everything was great. Loved the individual fire pits. We didn't get to use the boats or paint rocks (rock painting kit included in the cottage!) but next time (and there will be a next time!) for sure! ##### Jennifer T. I enjoyed the same calm and relaxing atmosphere I had last year. It looks like several upgrades have been made to organize the beach area and so it accomidates larger groups and is inviting for people to come and relax throughput the day. I spent my time on the water and enjoyed meeting a few other guests around the lake. I do avoid going to town, despite the excitement of someone else's post. What we received was so much more! Not only is the natural beauty and opportunities for hiking beyond our expectations, so was the cabin and surrounding property. Autumn Lake is exquisite, and the cabin had everything we needed, an equipped kitchen, warmth from the fireplace, and a comfortable mattress. When we found that the Dutch oven was missing, Brian, the property manager, immediately brought one by. Many boats were available on the lake, and a kayak allowed for a fun trip to a beaver dam. The only thing I can think of that might have added to the comfort and ease of the well appointed and furnished cabin would have been some hooks for coats, towels, and bathrobes. I’m hoping that we find an opportunity to return one day! ##### Darren W. The outside light (lightbulb eventually changed) and DVD player didn’t work, and the shower had low water pressure with no shelving. Utensils, plates, pots and pans available. Bring condiments.
