Superior accommodation, location and views
A beautifully presented, duplex garden apartment with modern, stylish decoration, comfortable beds and comprehensive equipment whose wonderful ever changing views over the attractive garden, adjacent riverside paths and seashore to Calpe's Penon de Ifach are a real bonus. Its location is ideal for local shopping (5 mins), inland and seaside walks, and for the many cafes and restaurants along the recently upgraded promenade which starts just outside the apartment. The 45m long, unheated swimming pool looks magnificent (not tested in February), but maybe check its actual availability outside the July /August "season". The apartment's two outside seating areas lose the sun by 2pm - time to move round to the sea facing poolside area... For winter renters, separate a/c fan heaters in each main room work well - perhaps less comfortable and convenient than centrally controlled radiators - whilst a range of digital UK TV channels plus Netflix provide a very satisfactory entertainment centre. The owner's local representatives were easy to contact (via email and WhatsApp), welcoming and helpful. All in all then a very appealing year-round property which is highly recommended. Altea old town's charm is justifiably acclaimed and well documented. Access via its steep streets and steps can be challenging on foot and almost prohibitive by car. Lack of parking space in the town as a whole requires careful planning. The apartment however offers a secure base for motorised visitors, with ample scope for trips elsewhere along the coast and into the scenic sierras.

The house was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked, linens and towels were provided. The view from the terrace was so incredibly beautiful, the garden surrounding the property was amazing and the pool was huge and well maintained. It would be a good idea to bring water shoes as the beach is very rocky and difficult to walk on. There were tons of great restaurants and cafes near by. The old town (pictured in the website's photos) where the church is was not terribly close. It's a long walk, but definitely worth your time!

A gem of a place to stay
The whole process from booking the stay to checking out was easy. A wonderful place to stay- well appointed, spacious and very clean. Loved all the little extras like kitchen basics of rice etc and teabags- the British love their tea! Made use of the Scrabble and enjoyed eating on the balcony and relaxing on the outside sofas. Isobel was so helpful and made sure we were happy with everything. Would definitely come again.

Perfect location
Great view and excellent location. The property was very well equipped. The only problem was the toilet was off the lounge and not in the ensuite. We would and have already recommend ed it to our friends and family. The area has many great restaurants and the shops are excellent .

Ideal for families.
This sea view duplex is exceptional. Its location to beach and town is very good. A large swimming pool in Altea is very hard find this has it all.The duplex it self has everything you need for a great stay.We all felt it was home from home. Check in and out was simple.We were met and shown around by Isabel who was very good at explaining were things was and how they worked..Can't wait to return. Colin.

The property is in an excellent position in Altea, in front of a beach but within easy reach of the town and the old town. The property is beautifully furnished and clean, with comfortable beds and everything you could need. It has two delightful outside areas to enjoy al fresco breakfasts and it has TV with English channels. It has its own secure parking. There is a friendly beach bar behind the property. We would definitely return.

Great experience
The apartment is situated very close to the beach and to Altea such that it is not necessary to drive (which is good, as parking in Altea can be difficult). There is secure parking. There is a large pool in the complex which is well maintained and was never that busy (when we went). In addition, people in the complex seem friendly, the gardens are beautiful and the sea and a bar are immediately behind the premises. The apartment is modern and on two floors - while you cannot lock the apartment from the back when going to the pool, you can shut the doors, there are security cameras and the compound is gated and secure. Convenient if everyone is at the pool. Our check in was fine and Isabel was very helpful and responsive. She also organised additional cleaning that we sought. In addition, Dominique, the owner, was very helpful to us. We recommend this for a family or a couple.

I really liked it, it is modern with a beautiful view, and tastefully decorated. Also important when you spend about 18 days it is well equipped. I like cooking and this was important. The lower floor ceilings are a bit too low, and it can be a problem if you are 6.2 ". The fact that you have 2 floors was great it gave us space and independence. We really enjoyed our time and we would go back,

What a view!
My friend and I stayed with our 3 children and had a wonderful time. The duplex is modern, light, well equipped and has the most amazing view from the top balcony (the photos don't do it justice!). Isabel was very helpful and met us on arrival and showed us how everything worked. Location is fabulous - right by the promenade with a lovely little beach bar on the doorstep (I recommend the pink gin!). Large supermarket only 10 minutes walk. My only constructive criticism would be that it would be helpful for the pool rules to be included in the information manual. We found out from the residents that there were very strict rules e.g. no balls, inflatables, no noise between 3-5pm, no food, not to move the tables or chairs etc... which is all ok but good to know beforehand. The pool area however is lovely - and big! All in all a great holiday - thanks Dominique and Isabel.

Beautiful, comfy apartment in a fantastic location where we enjoyed a week long holiday with our 3 big children. The sea view was mesmerising as it changed colour during the day. Aircon throughout apartment was most appreciated in the heatwave. Fabulous swimming pool which was never overcrowded, even in August, and the sea just a tiny walk away. A plethora of bars and restaurants to choose from locally and a stroll up to the old town revealed more. The apartment & Altea both exceeded our expectations, a lovely memorable holiday. Thank you!

Amazing place!
We had pleasure of staying here on the 24th June for 10 days, and we had such a lovely time. The apartment was perfect for myself and family of 4 adults and 2 children. Furnished to such a high standard and room sizes and layout was great. The communal pool is seconds away from the apartment, which was large and maintained to a high standard. Outside space was more than adequate, the terrace gave beautiful views of the sea! The apartment is positioned on the sea front promenade, which, through a gate in the grounds, you can walk the promenade which takes you within minutes to the bustling sea front with restaurants and bars. We had a few issues with Isobel who greeted us as I didn’t find her the most welcoming of people, but apart from that what a wonderful holiday! Thankyou Dominique for letting us stay, we had a wonderful holiday and made such lovely lovely memories!

Very modern apartment overlooking the sea
We spent a week in the apartment in May/June. It is an outstanding location with brilliant views from the balcony off the lounge area.Very clean and well equipped for 6 people. For an additional fee we had beach chairs, parasol etc for the beach and pool area. The gardens are beautiful and very well looked after. TV in the lounge was good for our grandchildren with UK channels. The promenade towards Altea town is in front of the site with access from the gardens. Many restaurants and bars along the front and the beautiful old town about 20 mins by foot up the hill is certainly not to be missed. Brilliant restaurants in the old town. On the minus side we did not realise the ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom did not contain a toilet until we arrived or indeed a door. This was a disappointment. The toilet is in the lounge area. As was the fact that the patio doors were not lockable from outside, meaning that when going to the pool, at least one member of the family had to go out the front of the building and walk round the car park. Nevertheless it was a lovely apartment and we can recommend it for a family holiday.

Amazing duplex!
We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. Location is perfect- close to the beach and literally 2 minutes walk from Altea promenade with a sea view from the upstairs terrace. Large Mercadona less than 10 minutes walk away. Arrival at the property went very smoothly with Isabel greeting us as we got out of our car and helping us with our luggage. This is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed and well worth the cleaning fee. Extremely well equipped with all new modern amenities. No bath but 2 lovely shower rooms so we didn't miss it and an infant bath was provided for the kids. Large outdoor pool which we would definitely use if we had been there in the summer months. Lovely well tended surrounding gardens. Very secure complex. A favourite of ours was the large TV with multiple English speaking channels. In addition this is a Smart TV so we could get Netflix etc- very important when we are in early every night due to having 2 toddlers. The property is good for kids and the owner even fitted a stair gate for us just after we arrived- Dominique could not have been more helpful! We actually extended our stay by 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer. An exceptional property in an outstanding location! Hope to return soon.

Modern, well presented apartment in excellent location
First line apartment of high quality and overlooking gardens and promenade. Very quiet which considering the central location was a real bonus. The environment around the apartment was all of a very good standard Well equipped, everything you could want and cleaned to a high standard Beds comfortable and slept well Great position only a couple of minutes walk to the main shopping centre, bars and cafes 2 wc's with access to one from the living room ! The 2 shower rooms were excellent Lovely views from veranda and terrace Great swimming pool a minutes walk away Beach nearby shelves quite steeply into sea, also made up of stones so not ideal for children No welcome pack / instructions on arrival but everything worked and was simple enough to operate. Good tv with UK channels Cost of cleaning was €150 ! Deposit of €1000 was paid by cheque on arrival and was returned upon completion of stay so no problems

We enjoyed our morning breakfast on the terrace with a view of the beach and Ocean. Perfectly located, in the neighborhood off Old Altea and the promenade but also a very private and quite location. La casa está muy agradable, limpia, nueva... Me parece estupenda para verano por su orientación y su situación en la urbanización. En esta epoca del año, si hubiera dado más sol en la terraza o ventanas, lo hubiera agradecido. Cocina muy bien equipada. Salón: el sofá pequeño para seis personas que caben en la casa. Se agradecería otro, pero dependiendo del plan que vayas a hacer lo vas a notar o no.

Most stunning apartment ever
We stayed in this beautiful apartment three weeks in June and had an amazing time. It was spotless clean and so tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped, a big favour if you like to cook. From the terrass on the upper floor you have the most amazing view over the garden and the sea. The communication with the owner was very good, quick respons if you had any questions. Isabel who meet us in the apartment was also very nice and communicative. Thank you Madame Dominique for let us rent your amazing apartment.

Schöne wohnung, Superlage direkt an der Promenade, freundliche und hilfsbereite Verwalterin
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung! Alles ist da, es fehlt an nichts, die gesamte Einrichtung sowie die Küche, die Badezimmer und alle Geräte sind sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll. Die Wohnung hat einen ganz tollen Stil, und man sieht, dass sie mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde (auch bezüglich Dekoration und Accessoires). Alles war blitzeblank sauber und ordentlich, sogar die beiden Babybettchen standen schon bereit, und alle Betten waren bezogen (die Betten sind übrigens sehr bequem, was auch nicht selbstverständlich ist!). Die Terrasse und der Balkon sind Spitzenklasse, ebenfalls mit schönen Möbeln und mit Blick aufs Meer. Nach ein paar Schritten durch den Garten steht man schon auf der Promenade bzw. am Strand, eine bessere Lage geht gar nicht! Parken kann man direkt vor der Haustür, was für uns als Familie mit vier kleinen Kindern sehr wichtig ist! Die Verwalterin Isabel ist außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit, einmal mussten wir sie spätabends anrufen, weil es ein Problem gab, und sie war wirklich innerhalb weniger Minuten da. Also eine bessere und schönere Wohnung hätten wir nicht aussuchen können, und wir können sie hundertprozentig weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful apartment and location
Two adults and two kids, we had a great time in this beautiful apartment, clean, fresh and well kept. Good beds, well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the spectacularly white pebble beach (get swimming shoes at one of the china bazar stores a couple of blocks behind the beach promenade) and even shorter to the swimming pool in the garden. The view from the terrace is even better than in the photos. The owner's local representative was very nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Flott leilighet ved stranden
Veldig ren, velutstyrt og fin leilighet. Hovedetasjen var romslig, og med en super terrasse. Litt lavt under taket i underetasjen, og rommene luktet litt innestengt, men rent og pent. Bassengområdet var veldig bra, og passet ypperlig for oss med ungdommer i reisefølget. Det var også fint at stranden var så nærme. Vi hadde en flott uke midt i juli.

Vi stortrivdes i den nydelige leiligheten. Beliggenheten var topp med nærhet til strand, shopping, restauranter og til Gamlebyen! Den var ren og delikat og vi stortrivdes der!
