The accommodation is tastefully furnished, modern and well equipped with cooling and everything you could expect to find in your own home.
The terrace has wonderful views over the valley looking at the Altea Hills. My wife and I would sit with a nightcap (Licor 43) watching the acrobatics of the swallows overhead in/out of the streets at high speed! At dusk, bats can be seen flapping about above the rooftops. Undeniably charming!
All restaurants, beaches, bars, supermarkets, shops and the bakery are within walking distance.
The restaurant next door, Xef Pirata is an absolute must. We visited twice and on both occasions found the staff very friendly and the food mouth-watering. I recommend starting with a Mojito or two lol.
It's a short walk to the ice cream parlour over the road, and found we often did!
The locals are very friendly and on the weekends the guy next door, would play traditional Russian music, I think he was Russian? (It sounded Russian to me) At the end of the street, Spanish music could also be heard pouring through the windows.
I think it's worth noting that you are in the middle of the town amongst the local people. We felt very privileged to stay here.
Absolutely delightful accommodation central to the charming town of Altea, everything we expected and more.
The whole experience was very comfortable and relaxing. If I were to return to Altea, I would stay here again.
