"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."
