Picturesque retreat inspired by Thomas Kinkade, set on 1.5 acres!
Nestled among stunning Aspens and Pines, you’ll immediately feel warmth and charm the moment you arrive in the neighborhood. There's plenty of lush grass for outdoor games or even pitching a tent—kids love sleeping under the stars! The cabin isn't just your typical mountain cabin; it feels like stepping into a Kinkade painting. Enjoy a luxurious stay with top-of-the-line furnishings that truly stand out. This charming cabin features hardwood floors, cozy wooden beams, beautiful interior finishes, and Wi-Fi. Step onto the front porch, where a lovely swing and outdoor furniture await—a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and peaceful meadow views. If you're lucky, you might see a lovely pasture filled with elk! We’re thrilled to welcome a new baby elk to our yard every year; it’s always a remarkable sight! As you enter the home, the great room offers ample seating around the large flagstone fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings and s’mores.
The kitchen boasts high-quality granite countertops and backsplash, a 6-burner Jenn-Air gas stove, a Jenn-Air quiet dishwasher, a Jenn-Air oven, and a microwave. The stylish copper sink is a great choice because of its antimicrobial properties. You'll also find a full-sized washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen. Just beside the kitchen is a lovely bar area with a wine fridge and another charming copper sink. This is where we relax and enjoy coffee and drinks at the bar. The back patio, easily accessible from the kitchen, is ideal for grilling with our Weber charcoal grill.
The master bedroom is downstairs, with a loft featuring a queen bed upstairs. Access the loft via a fully secure wooden ladder! The loft isn’t enclosed, so please keep that in mind when booking.
Our location is in Tal Wi Wi, just four miles north of Alpine, at an elevation of 8,200 feet. Tal Wi Wi has its own restaurant and lodge. Be sure to stop by Long Shadow and enjoy their patio. Alpine offers many excellent dining options; The Foxfire restaurant—definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a nice dinner, pizza, or lively night dancing to a live country band! The Bear Wallow serves an amazing country breakfast and was featured on television for its homemade pies! The Alpine Grill is open from morning till night and also hosts live bands.
Are you into fishing streams or lakes? That’s why we chose this spot—to enjoy the widest variety! Interested in exploring? There are many trails and dirt roads, so be sure to pack a lunch. Enjoy hiking on the numerous nearby trails—pick the one that excites you most! And if snowmobiling sounds fun, we've got the deepest snow for plenty of excitement. Come and make the most of these wonderful adventures!

If your looking for a quaint and cozy cabin with great surroundings and close to endless outdoor activities this is the place to stay and enjoy yourselves!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin. The location was great, with many tall Pines and Aspen on the property. The cabin was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We plan to return when we are looking for a mountain getaway!
Cozy cabin loaded with all the supplies, appliances, and amenities needed for a nice getaway in the mountains. Host was very open to a last minute request for a late checkout.
The cabin was so cozy and Sharri had everything stocked that you would need. Location was very close to cute town, restaurants , local tavern with live music and good fishing at Black River and Big Lake. Would definitely go back again.
This adorable cabin, the amazing view and the great host made this an overall superb mini vacation for myself , my friend and my chocolate lab. The cabin was stocked with everything imaginable, and the new bed was so comfortable. This place definitely felt like home and we will definitely be making a trip back here very very soon!!
We had a fantastic time at this cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. Our host was friendly and attentive, making the stay even better. Highly recommend!
Cabin was very clean and user friendly. Nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect for 2 people. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the birds and squirrels.
We spent the summer here and will be going that again. Sharri was great to work with and the property was so nice and well kept. This was everything we were looking for and was such a great summer get away. We really can’t say enough about how great this summer was staying here.
Beautiful secluded property just north of Alpine. We were lucky enough to be the first guests here, and cannot recommend it enough. It's a cozy cabin with modern comforts. Quiet mornings on the porch, sipping coffee, listening to the aspen quake and elk call in the distance (or just the other side of the fence) can't be beat. With so much to explore in the surrounding White Mountains, we will definitely be back.
To start with the pictures on Vrbo didn’t do the cabin justice. When we walked in, we were so amazed at how beautiful every inch of it was. There’s absolutely nothing we could’ve wanted that wasn’t there. We went to Alpine to go fishing and it turned out to be too windy, so we ended up spending a lot of time in the cabin. That turned out to be great because it was so nice and comfortable. The mattress was excellent. The very large piece of property was completely fenced in which is great for aour dog.
We had a great time at this wonderful cabin in the pines and pretty much everything we needed was available. It was very comfortable and clean with a wonderful well stocked kitchen, relaxing porch, large fenced yard, and even a place to park our trailered OHV’s we rode while there.
The one thing I wish we were aware of was that there was no air conditioning, only fans, even though it was listed under amenities. I understand it’s not common for there to be AC in the area, but it was listed. It got pretty warm during the day in July, so I would just recommend bringing more fans if you like it cooler. It was just fine after the sun went down though.
Also, just a heads up on the loft. The head room is limited and you have to go down the ladder at night to use the bathroom.
Sharri was great about communicating with us and quick to respond. She was even kind enough to let us check in early. Thanks Sharri!
Overall we had a nice, relaxing, and enjoyable time. We will definitely keep this place in our favorite places to stay when we’re back in the Alpine area!
The cabin was just perfect. Very welcoming and very cozy. We had a beautiful stay, sitting in front of the fireplace watching the snow falling. Just the perfect place to unplug, unwind and enjoy the woods.
