Great hotel! Conveniently located next to bus stops which take you to Les Houche, Brevent, Le Tour etc. It’s a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants. They have a lovely spa - the sauna and jacuzzi were fab. The pool is great for kids as it has 2 levels - a very shallow end and deep end. They water is also lovely and warm. The room was modern and very clean. I’d definitely stay there again!

It was clean and comfortable with very helpful and friendly staff (a big help if you don't know the area). The spa is delightful and the spa services are professional. Easily walkable to everything but a far enough away to be quieter. Excellent breakfast spread.

It was horrible stay I’ll never go back to this hotel , at approach treatment was very unliked,15 min to 4 pm they said you can’t check in you have to waite 15 min till time comes and next day you (( have to check out before 11 am )) let me check first my friend then threat me for check out, felt my self as refugee 😂 beside the room was full of animals bugs and Miskitos the very strange thing is they wanted me to bring a prof that there is bugs So I had to catch one and bring it to the resption down to proof that Then they changed my room to a suit , but the thing is the treatment and cleanness of the place by the way I a regular customer and every time I face a problems with them for the same issue treating the customer sense they were 3 star Now they’ve been upgraded to 4 star because of the spa But they are down graded in manners to 0 star I don’t recommend this hotel to any one Never ever again

We have to admit that we are absolutely disgusted by this feedback, after the action taken further to your demand to change room because of the inoffensive bug that you found in the bathroom.You have booked your reservation three days before the arrival and only rooms on the first floor were available, but you weren’t very happy about this floor level were you ? Otherwise, why pretend to have found a « bed bug » in the room, right after your check-in, that was actually a simple mosquito ?Fortunately, we were able to upgrade your room type for free thanks to a last minute cancellation, and you ended up in a Suite. Furthermore, check-ins are guaranteed at 4pm and check-out resquested for 11am, as displayed on every website you can book through. A 15min wait does not seem to be so difficult to handle.To resume : you have found a mosquito in the room, we upgraded the room type for free within 10min after check-in, we took time to explain and respond all of your demands during your stay, and we still end up receiving a 2/10 review. It seems like we should not trust your smile and behaviour, even though you were very insistent about this dangerous mosquito. For some reason, dishonesty always suprises us. Fortunately, we are able to write down our side of the story.We hope that you wouldn't dare book again in our establishment with such bad comment after your check-out.Best regards,

The hotel was fine and my frustration was with a lack of flexibility on what I think should have been a small point of service. Two aspects: I selected via Expedia for hotels with car charging facilities. The Prieuré came up within the list so I presumed it was equipped. It wasn’t - ok, not their fault. The following day I found a car park with charging and charged there for 6 hours at a cost of 15 euro. I had also paid the 15 euro daily parking charge at the hotel. Again, ok. When checking out I asked if I could leave my car in the garage until 4pm rather than the usual cutoff of 2pm - I was even prepared to pay the extra time. Non! I outlined that in addition to the wrongly listed car charge and the inherent costs, my room had also not been serviced. Still ‘Non!’. It’s the inflexibility which is upsetting and will guarantee I don’t stay again.

We confirm there is not such information regarding car charger in our parking on Expedia, since the informations regarding the establishment are all correct on any reservations website. Also, we are actually flexible regarding the parking availabitility since check-out needs to be done at 11am and we agree for all or our customers to leave their cars until 2.30pm in order to let them enjoy their last day in town. Indeed we are not able to allow the cars of the departures of the day after 2.30pm since we are in the middle of the high season and we have plenty of arrivals each day, that will request parking spot from 12 oclock. It is a shame that you didn't seem to understand the situation and at a moment we had to say goodbye since the conversation wasn't going anywhere. Regarding the cleaning service, housekeepers have until 5.30pm each day to clean a room that is staying overnight. If we didn't have time to clean your room when you were out of the establishment, we would have arrived anyway afterwards. If the "do not disturb" is put on when we arrive for the cleaning we inform our colleagues in order to clean the room with the other team between 6.30 and 7.30pm. We remind that we are always at your disposal for any inconvenience you may experience, and we are not able to know exactly when you are at the hotel and when you are not. If you plan to be in town for some hours do not hesitate to inform the reception and we will organise the housekeeper service in order to clean your room when you are away. Communication is essential since obviously we are not able to know where you are exactly at anytime of the day. We are sorry to hear that our establishment management did not respond your expectations and we hope that you will find an establishment that will suits you more for your next stay in Chamonix. Absolutely perfect for a weekend retreat. Gorgeous views of Mont Blanc from the balcony, comfy, chic room, delicious breakfast, such friendly staff, so friendly to my little dog. And minutes walk to town and hiking trails. Wish the spa had been working but everything else was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Staff go the extra kilometre
I have stayed here on many occasions for ski trips over the last 20years, but can honestly say it hass never been as good as it is now. The recent uplift makes the place seem modern and fashionable, butt the main asset are the staff. The reception staff couldnt have been moree professional or helpful. The y offered to print out our covid documentation, and then declined payment. The evening meal was of a high standard, with delightful cocktails, and all served with a friendly professionalism. Best of all, having left without picking up spectacles, we received an email very soon after, offering to post them on, thanks Emilie! Our stay this time was just an overnight mid nourney stop, but we were made to feel our holiday had well.andd truly started already.

Exceeded expectations- overnight became 4 nights!
I really can't fault Hotel Le Prieuré. The bedrooms and bathrooms arecas modern and stylish as they appear in the photos, the staff are always on hand and courteous to a fault, the location is excellent - just a minure's walk to the high street and shops. The room was even equipped with a Nespresso machine so every morning i awoke to a good strong cup of proper coffee. 5* all round. Do be aware tgat parkihg is on a first come first served basis at €15/night, and breakfast is quite eteep at €17/pppn.

Great for our Ski Trip
We stayed at Chalet Hotel Le Prieure on a European ski trip from the US, in February. We felt it was a great location, within walking distance of everything we needed and parking for our rental car. We had a beautiful view of the mountains, with Mont Blanc in the background! The hotel was very clean and in great condition, with friendly and helpful staff.

We stay at 7 floor and 2 floor in two days , 7 floor the shower temp was not stable ... sometimes super hot / super cold .... guess is top floor issue .....and the rest is really nice ... location and the view is great 👏👏
