I had family move to Presque Isle, and this was a great location to be able to get in the car and go see them. Also not to far of a drive to Mackinac City/Bridge. Plenty of room to enjoy some family time with games, cards and a lot of laughing. We were able to take our dog and not have to worry about the expense of boarding him while gone. My husband and I took a trip to Alpena because we had never been there before and we are looking at places to move farther north. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hosts are very easy to do business with. We had a small issue in that we forgot to mention our dog was coming with us. The host was very gracious in our conversations about this oversight and we worked it out quickly. Additionally, they are more laid back than some hosts. There weren’t signs posted everywhere with rules to follow. Instead they provided a notebook with their expectations and helpful information about the house and the location.
