We look forward to welcoming you! Apartment Aurora is located directly on the beach of Velilla and can accommodate two people. It is equipped with every comfort so that you can spend relaxing holidays here. And if you do have to do something for work, you can do it quickly: A fiber optic connection for fast internet (300 MB) is installed in the apartment. On the sheltered, open balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful sunny days and a wonderful view over the sea and mountains - the sea is right at your feet and maybe you also see some dolphins which are hunting here more often. Binoculars are ready for their observation. If you want to book our apartment, our payment terms are as follows: When booking, 25% of the total rental price will be charged as a deposit. The remaining amount is only due 14 days before arrival. In the event of cancellation, payments made will not be refunded. Detailed description: In apartment “Aurora” two persons can feel absolutely comfortable. It disposes of a romantic bedroom, a modern shower bathroom, a cosy living/dining room with modern kitchenette and an open balcony with stunning views to Sea and mountains. For your comfort are at your disposal: In the bedroom there are a Queen-Size-bed with two single mattresses and built-in wardrobes. The shower bathroom is equipped with washing machine. The modern kitchenette offers a glass ceramic hob with two cooking zones, fridge/freezer, small oven, microwave oven with Grill and Hot-Air Function, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It is comfortably equipped with glasses, dishes, cutlery, pans and pots for 2 persons. The living room invites you to relax with two cosy wing chairs with footstools and a reading lamp and flat screen-TV with German (Astra) and Spanish (TDT) TV programmes. The glass dinner table with two wicker chairs is prepared for having delicious lunches and dinners. An air conditioning system (cold/warm) provides bedroom and living-room. A fiber optic connection for fast internet (300 MB) is available and included in the price. The open balcony offers a terrace table with two high-back chairs with adjustable backrests as well as awning. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. For the stay at the beach, we offer also two beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The apartment building disposes also of a communal pool, open in July and August. We provide our tenants a free parking space in the public underground car park (about 100 meters away). The beach of Velilla, one of the longest of Almuñécar and beautifully grown with tropical palm trees. Restaurants, cafés, bars and charming chiringuitos are near-by and in walking distance to the apartment. To the old town of Almuñécar with its mourish castle and the famous white houses it only 20 min. by foot, with the car 5 min. Worth knowing about Almuñécar, its history and its surroundings: Although Almuñecar is a busy village, it still has the heart of an old Andalucian ‘pueblo’ with its narrow cobbled streets. The old center is full of tapas bars, bodegas, restaurants and interesting shops of all kinds. On Friday, a street market (Mercadillo) takes place on the Paseo Blas Infante. Here clothing, shoes, cloths, pottery, fashion jewelery, bags and much more are offered. The attractions of Almuñecar include the Phoenician fish-salt factory, Roman viaducts, the botanical garden Parque Majuelo (here every year in July, an international jazz festival takes place), the bird park Loro Sexi, the old Moorish castle San Miguel, various museums, the large marine aquarium and the water park Aquatropic (on the beach of Velilla). Beautiful is also a trip into the surrounding of Almuñecar, the Valle Verde. Here tropical fruits (mangoes, avocados and chirimoyas) are cultivated. This road leads up to the mountains to Granada (a former historical goats path). Also worth is a visit to the beautiful lake in Bermejeles and to the old Moorish town of Alhama de Granada with its hot springs. For golf lovers there is an 18-hole golf course in Motril. The Sierra Nevada ski area, with more than 100 kilometers of slopes, is easily reached by car in just over an hour. It is open from early December to late April and offers slopes of all levels. Almost half of the slopes can be artificially snowed so that even in low-precipitation winter skiing is almost always possible. Porque encontrarás TODO lo que necesites durante tu estancia; desde detalles como accesorios de playa, fieltros que separan las sartenes para que no se rayen, una botella de vino y jabones hechos a mano como regalo de bienvenida, hasta incluso un neceser de costura. La limpieza es extrema. Se nota en cada detalle la atención y preocupación de su dueña Kerstein porque tu estancia sea agradable. Den Ausblick kann man nicht in Bildern einfangen. Das Meeresrauschen schon gar nicht. Wir wurden super freundlich mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten empfangen, die Übergabe verlief reibungslos. Es ist alles nach deutschem Standart eingerichtet und vorhanden, sehr scharfe Messer und sogar einen Staubsauger gibt es. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Kerstin Ott lief auch während des Aufenthaltes prima. Sie war immer für uns zu erreichen. Die Anlage war, zumindest zu unserer Reisezeit, sehr angenehm und leise. Außer dem Meeresrauschen war nichts zu hören. Wir werden auf jeden Fall versuchen wieder zu kommen, sofern denn mal eine Buchungslücke vorhanden ist. Die Wohnung war wie auf den Bildern, schon fast wie zu Hause. Die Aussicht auf\`s Meer und jeden Morgen wundervolle Sonnenaufgänge. Preiswertes Essen und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, die man mit dem Auto sehr einfach erreichen konnte. Jeden Abend schöne Spaziergänge an der tollen Promenade und alles soo Sauber. We were delayed so didn’t arrive until the early hours but Kerstin met us and didn’t rush us at all - she went with us to park the car in a great underground car park very nearby then showed us round the apartment- it was lovely and had literally everything you could ask for and more including a very easy to use washing machine, all towels, cleaning equipment and lots of basics - bed large and comfy - chairs, mats and umbrella for the beach - much needed air conditioning. very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing! It was perfect in every way. Kerstin Ott is an excellent host. From the time we booked the apartment she would very quickly answer any queries we had and made recommendations for our stay in Almunecar. Communication was first class and the instructions for checking in and out were very clear. Kerstin met us upon arrival and showed us around the apartment and ensured we were happy with everything before leaving us to enjoy our stay. The apartment is perfect in size for a couple like us. The furniture and amenities are very modern, clean and comfortable. It is supplied with everything you will need for your time there including Beach Towels, Beach chairs and umbrella. There is also a washing machine, which came in very handy during our stay there. The views from the apartment were fantastic with amazing Sunrises and Sunsets – Bliss! The great addition to this apartment is the Secure Parking which is underground and means that the car is always cool. Also, there is no searching for a parking space. I can think of no negative points at all and would highly recommend this apartment for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday in Almunecar. Die Wohnungsübergabe beinhaltete auch hilfreiche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Am schönsten war es natürlich auf dem Balkon mit dem Blick aufs Meer. Kerstin ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die immer bemüht ist zu helfen und Tipps zu geben Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, die schöne Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Strände und auch das Hinterland sind wunderschön. Die Temperaturen waren optimal und es war überhaupt nicht voll, dadurch konnte man entspannt genießen.
