A Slipper Slope mountain cabin
Location: A Slipper Slope is conveniently located in a gated community off Highway 28 S just outside of Bryson City, NC. This cabin is just a few short minutes from the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake and a public lake access point that is popular for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, and more! The mountain biking mecca of the Eastern United States, Tsali Recreation Center is less than 10 minutes away. And the outdoor adventurous fun of the Nantahala Gorge like white water rafting and zip lining is only a 15 minute trip away. Bryson City is about a 25 minutes drive from this cabin where you can enjoy the charming shops, restaurants, and breweries or check out the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train depot located downtown. You can also access the Deep Creek entrance into the GSMNP while in town. Deep Creek is packed with great hiking trails, beautiful waterfalls, and in the Spring and Summer months, tubing!
Access Road: Cars and Most All vehicles- Paved and hard packed gravel sections on a well maintained mountain road, switchbacks and moderate to steep incline sections possible, no washed out section. The roads to this cabin are not considered 'Motorcycle Friendly'.
Exterior: Rejuvenate in the lap of luxury at this lavish two story traditional natural log cabin. The cabin's spacious deck provides opulent amenities and overlooks breathtaking views of where the Smoky Mountains uniquely intertwine with the Fontana Lake below you. The deck is equipped with a relaxing hot tub perfect for soaking away your stress after an adventurous day of exploring. There is a beautiful artisan hand crafted wooden bear hightop table with two bar stools perfect for enjoying a libation while you enjoy the views of the horizon. The deck is also supplied with a wonderful gas grill with all utensils supplied for you to create some tasty meals. Enjoy your cooking creations at the picnic table on the deck or take it down to the yard and enjoy it in one of the sizable wooden carved benches surrounding the stone fire pit.
Entry Level: Walking through the door you will be warmly welcomed into the impressive open airy floor plan of this beautiful log cabin. The high vaulted ceilings along with the walls of windows create a stunning design that perfectly showcases the breathtaking mountain views. The living room is furnished with plush leather sofas surrounding a wonderful stone fireplace and flat screen tv. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with a large table with seating for 6. The kitchen is around the corner with beautiful stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and utensils you will need for tasty vacation dining. Enjoy your meal at the table or take it out on the deck and enjoy it al fresco on one of the tables outside. The master bedroom is also on the entry level featuring a king size bed and private en suite bath.
Loft: Upstairs in the loft is a wonderful game area equipped with another flat screen tv and foosball table for your entertainment pleasure. There is also a pull out sleeper sofa in the loft for additional sleeping capacities. Similar to the lower level, the floor to ceiling windows display the stunning mountain views from every room of the cabin including the upstairs loft.

Everything was amazing and as advertised. It definitely looks better in person. The only thing I had an issue with is it wasnt as secluded as advertised. There was literally a cabin less than a hundred yards and it was up hill so looked down directly on the back patio from their back patio. Otherwise it was amazing
