Check-in was very warm and welcoming. Our one bit of upset was that our room AC shut off during dinner, and the room was very warm when we came back. There was no info available and no obvious way to fix this, and the in-room thermostat wasn’t working (no power). We called reception at 10:30 and were told there was no one in the building who could fix our AC. Finally another family member staying at the parador came over and with four people systematically flipping switches and checking fuses in a fuse box, we finally got the air to come on after 20-30 minutes. At a parador, I would hope not to have to do such electrical work ourselves, without assistance.
