A charming country house providing all modern comforts in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Accommodating up to 8 people, this ancestral home is a perfect place to spend quality time with family or friends.
The house enjoys a privileged location, in the heart of the beautiful tourist region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. The main tourist attractions of Lac-St-Jean and Saguenay are within an hour's drive from the house. From the Zoo de St-Félicien to Ste-Rose-du-Nord, from Val-Jalbert to Monts-Valin National Park, the many attractions will fill your stay.
Nature lovers will be delighted with the country setting. In summer, they'll enjoy the Lac-St-Jean's beaches (15 km) and the "Véloroute des Bleuets". In winter, they'll enjoy the ski resorts and snowmobile trails.

The bedding used (flat sheet, contour sheet, pillow cases, towels, tablecloths, dish cloths) must be deposited in the laundry room. The dishes must be washed. If necessary, fill and operate the dishwasher. All waste and recycling must be placed in the outside bins (bags of waste in the green bin, recycling in the blue bin). Items broken or impossible to clean must be left on the kitchen counter. If used, the BBQ must be cleaned and the gas cylinder valve must be closed. Waste and any object on the ground must be collected. Doors must be locked and all windows closed. The key must be placed inside the key box attached to the handle of the main door.

This property was exactly what we needed for our immediate family to stay at, as we attend a Family Reunion in Lac St. Jean.
It was spacious, had the ambiance of a country home and every thing that one could possibly need was provided. We loved it!
If we have the opportunity, we would definitely stay there again.

Idéalement placée entre le lac Saint Jea, notamment le Zoo de Saint Félicien et le fjord de la rivière de Saguenay. Maison très confortable dans un esprit maison ancienne en bois. Tout simplement super
Une maison à recommander, de part sa propreté, l’attention du propriétaire ainsi que le style ancien mais très bien entretenu avec tout le confort nécessaire, et très bien situé pour faire plusieurs activités.
Nous étions huit personnes ayant besoin d’espace pour des activités diverses. Les différents salons ont beaucoup été appréciés de même que l’immense table dans la salle à dîner.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison ancestrale. Malgré son âge, cette belle demeure est super bien équipée que ce soit coté cuisine, service de table, mobilier confortable intérieur et extérieur, literie…. Il ne manque rien. Elle mérite de grandes familles tellement elle regorge de petits salons, cachettes. Bref, des espaces pour tous. Même si nous n’étions que deux nous avons adoré la vieille maison de Xavier. Merci à Marc et Marie d’avoir persévéré dans la préservation de leur patrimoine

Le lieu est typique et calme et ideal pour découvrir le Lac St Jean et les activités comme le Zoo de St Felicien, qui est top sans oublier le village Val Jalbert - a faire avec des ados et des petits!
