The water in August was surprisingly warm enough for swimming. We used the five kayaks to cross the bay in a flotilla and found the rock on the opposite shore that had petroglyphs drawn on it. My walking is wobbly and I enjoyed the ADA amenities of a ramp into the back entrance, a ground floor bedroom and good hand grabbers in the ground floor bathroom. The owners do have a ton of spices and the icemaker works (some owners turn them off) We stayed in Nov so it was sunny and cold which made a day fire in the firepit wonderful. They provided some wood which was nice- and all the showers had shampoo conditioner and body soap from costco. The garage/game room was fun we loved playing ping pong. The kayaks were great fun, much appreciated -- that would bring us back! The house is immaculate and extremely well stocked, great bed linens as well. Large deck for relaxing. Nice short walk to donut shop, restaurant, and coffee shop. A bit of road noise in the back but usually we didn't notice it. We even saw deer walking along the shore early one morning! This was our first time here and we'd do it again. We spent our days cooking, kayaking, and enjoying the hot tub. Lowtide brought all sorts of birds, and seals popped by to visit. We really appreciate that it's dog-friendly, but you wouldn't know that from the cleanliness.
