Vorab: Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen. Bei der Suche stach das Haus durch seine Architektur heraus. Der Schlüssel war leicht zu finden. Bei Ankunft war alles sauber, man musste nicht erstmal selbst mit Putzen anfangen, wie das oft in Ferienhäusern der Fall ist. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr umfangreich und komplett, wie wir dies bisher ebenfalls selten angetroffen haben. Alles funktionierte und war gereinigt. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr großzügig, hell und modern ausgestattet (die Couch vielleicht etwas tief für ältere Personen). Wir haben die weiträumige Terrasse mit Blick zum Meer und auf den schön angelegten Nachbargarten sowie mit den täglichen Besuchen von Fasanen, Kaninchen und oft auch eines Rehs sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, eigentlich äußerst ruhig, am Ende einer Sackgasse mit fußläufiger Nähe zu Sandvig und Allinge und zu den Wandergebieten rund um den Hammerknuden und entlang der Küste. Der größte Mangel waren die ungenügenden Ablagen für Gepäck, außer wenigen Regalbrettern und zwei kleinen Hängestangen – dafür mussten die Betten im kleineren Schlafraum herhalten. Insofern ist das Haupthaus für mehr als zwei Personen nicht geeignet; auch der Annex ist eng und ohne Ablagemöglichkeit. Optimal ist ein Aufenthalt Ende Mai/Anfang Juni. Selbst bei 14-16° C heizt das Haus durch die großen Fensterflächen und das Pultdach sehr auf. Im Sommer dürfte dies schwer erträglich sein. Der Zugang ist mit Gepäck etwas steil, aber machbar, auch wenn der geschotterte Zuweg nicht zum Begehen einlädt. Bis zum Ende nicht verstanden haben wir das Lichtschaltersystem und den TV-Zugang zum laufenden Fernsehprogramm (nicht nur Mediathek), aber irgednwie kommt man damit zurecht. Die Toilettenspülung füllt sehr langsam nach, bei mehrfacher Nutzung sind längere Wartezeiten zwischen den Spülgängen einzuplanen.
