Super clean, modern building with lovely helpful reception staff. We really liked the large apartment and it's balcony which was easily big enough to do our morning exercise routine, then sit and have coffee whilst watching the cruise ship coming in. 15 min light walk to Praia De Rocha, similar to Portimao but i wouldn't bother!

Super place
Easy parking, wonderful lady at check in and check out. Close to the beach and a very well set up appartement with kitchen and washer. Pool looks wonderful but we did not use it. Excellent stay

Huge apartments, great location 15 mins walk from Praia da rocha, comfy beds and nice pool, as well as plenty of secure, underground parking. Would be great for a long stay or short. Would maybe benefit from a bar by the pool (I'd have used it!) and there's not a lot of amenities around the area (quite residential) but a lovely place to stay overall.

Great place to stay. It was a large apartment with a view of the water. Parking garage was secure and groceries and coffee were near by. Great location in between faro and Lagos .

Amazing Views and Beautiful Apartments and Gardens
There was nothing I could fault with my stay here. Ideal location for both Portimao Centre and Praia da Rocha and within easy walking distance to both. Views across the Rio Arade to Ferragudo are breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, modern and clean. Pool area and gardens were beautiful and plenty of sunbeds and sunbathing areas. Staff were very helpful, polite and well spoken in different languages. Contemporary communal areas throughout and hopefully the bar and restaurant will be opening again soon. I will definitely return here after staying in several locations in the area this has been by far the best property!

Lovely big apartment and very quiet. Spotless clean and well maintained. 10 min walk to centre of resort. 2nd time staying here. Would definitely stay again.

Liked the spacious apartment with lovely balcony and lovely views. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Disappointed jacuzzi still not working and is still advertised as having one. Disappointed that sun loungers are not on balconies but plenty round pool area but no wee tables next to sun loungers. Miss the restaurant not being opened. Welcome pack would be a nice touch for late at night check ins.

Vista Marina is a beautiful property. It has lovely grounds with a nice pool. The rooms are modern, bright and clean. In room internet is very very good The staff are friendly and helpful. The rates are excellent for how nice this place is. I can’t fault it.

Excellent Apartment, spacious and well equipped for a family of 4, all shared areas well kept and modern. Only minor criticism is that the indoor pool, spa, gym and bar were not open during our stay.

Not as depicted, Pool was smaller and shallow so couldn’t swim properly, gym spa restaurant was all closed and not communicated after booking, my room was large but had maintained issues ie cooking hob missing switch’s and one hob didn’t work, shower extractor fan didn’t work so door had swollen, black mould on the silicone etc

I enjoyed my few days at vista marina. Our apartment was fantastic well equipped and clean. The pool was lovely, everything was walking distance and the staff were really helpful. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.

Booked this place based on it having a gym and indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. only to find out on the 1st day that these are closed indefinitely for refurbishing even though there’s no sign of building works ongoing and nothing mentioned on their website. Apartment was okay, shower head fell off the first night and door handle for bathroom the following night. Was a spacious and clean apartment to be fair. Location and view were good and nicely laid out garden/pool area. Would I recommend, yes if they sort their facilities.

I enjoyed my stay but was rather disappointed to have to leave at 10 am sharp to avoid being charged 10 euros per extra hour. Most hotels are more flexible and offer check-out around 11am or noon. I also had a problem with the washer/dryer machine and even if the lady at the reception tried to fix it, it ended up not working and I had to leave with my damp clothes in the morning.

Helpful staff . recently painted and kept clean but bins not emptied every day. Washing machine available but they have taken away the exterior dryer poles from balcony area which is a mistake. Still liked vista marina though!

The place is nice enough with the pool and all… but seriously the appalling costumer service ruined it. They charged us extra for having a child in our room. There is NO room service, no supplies in the kitchen and you literally have to beg to have fresh towels! They have no idea what costumer service is at this place. For the amount of money we paid we could have stayed somewhere much nicer!

The good: the apartment was spacious and clean. The bad: The area around the property is not very nice, I would not walk out late at night. The wifi was terrible, only worked in certain places in the apartment and very very slow. Checkout was super early..10am.

We were really disappointed because of the refund handling. You are required to leave a deposit of EURO 250.—. This is ok but since we have to leave early I asked when the staff is there. They confirmed that someone is ther at 7:30 but even at 8am no one was there so we had to leave. 2 days later I found out that the amount was booked. No comment no anyrhing.

Absolute top marks! The staff are lovely, check-in was easy and quick. The rooms are fantastic, large, spacious, clean, well equipped and even have a washing machine. The pool area is very attractive. There is a little supermarket is 150m away away and town is 5 minutes walk, great location. Only tiny grumble is they need someone to sort their Wi-Fi network out, connection is a little hit and miss. It’s good on the pool side but can be hit and miss once in the room.

We had two rooms booked for our family stay. We had stayed previously at these apartments and were very pleased with the condition of both flats. The only negative comment is that wifi signal was not good in the bedroom, but it was fine in the main living room.

Fantastic pool & Spa area or only 1 km. walk to the Beach Strip and Casino. Only downside, the main desk is not covered from 6 pm until 9 am. The door locks can take a time to get used too.

This has been a favorite place to stay when traveling to Portimao. This time, it felt a bit tired and in need of upgrading. The bed is still quite comfortable, and we love the view of the river. Breakfast was good too.

Perfect stay
We really enjoyed our short stay at the Vista Marina Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartments were amazing with everything you would need and a huge balcony as we had an end room.
