The Hotel is under maintained , not updated like similar hotels in that age , for example the plumbing was leaking in the Bathroom. very short staffed , specially at the Breakfast Restaurant , Staff was trying to help everyone but Double amount of staff is needed to be able to provide a better service.

A Great Stay
We had a great stay at the Helnan Montazah Palace Palestine in the middle of the gardens on a quiet section of a very busy corniche. We really liked the service and amenities, although parts of this property are showing its age. A special thank you to the dining staff as we were impressed wuth their attentive service, and especially Mr. Shahat, who was very helpful. Maybe bulk up the wine list? 🍷;)

The hotel is very nice with character. Amusing sea view rooms on the North side. After all contraction works are finished, this place will be the best in Alexandria. The only issue is the constant noise of music until the early morning for rooms with sea view, because of the wedding ceremonies in the garden on Thursday and Friday night. I hope they can instal sound proof windows on rooms on the garden side.

I had an amazing stay at Helnan Palestine Hotel! The staff is really nice, and friendly, and made an effort to make me feel welcome and that my needs were met. The Maitre d there is a wonderful person! My massage in the spa was great! The hotel is very safe. Thank you, Helnan Paletine Hotel! I hope to be back someday. :)

They have a horrible front desk who have no clue about housing.We went for tranquility cause we are almost 50 years and without our kids to enjoy.The bathroom had a problem once we came and we waited until it was fixed and we were housed in a partial sea view not sea view as mentioned and in a room beside a big families with many babies with lot of noise and the room is separated from the neighborhood room with a door not a wall.

Hotel location is great andxso are tge staff. it is jowever very old and some renovayion done but not enough. the carpets are awful, the rooms clean ans small but because of carpets, have mouldy smell. the sharp green used mot restful colour. the food though good and brought on time was too exorbitant. we would 7suallu pau gor half the price for the equivalent. there was too much smoke every where and i did not find it entirely family friendly. overall a reasonably good stay but one time is enough. thank you for habing us.

The best hotel in Alexandria .. Very good service
I would recommend this hotel if you want privacy .. Nice beach and a very good service .. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and close proxemity to down town ...

Checking in took more than one hour. Staff is slow and inexperienced. Although the website intentionally give the impression that the hotel has its own wide beach, it does not have a beach at all. Will not go back or recommend.

The hotel is located in the beautiful garden of Montazah Royale palace . You will enjoy the great sea view from room's balcony.The hotel reception staff are friendly and kindly allowed early check in. The hotel is excellent for relaxation . Areas which needs improvement are the gym facilities , swimming pool water was not heated as advertised , air condition was not cooling and room service ignored my request to fix the air condition. SPA service accepts cash only and did not provide an invoice.

Excellent hotel in the Montaza Palace.
It was an excellent hotel, inside the palace and adjacent to the Mediterranean sea. The hotel staff were friendly and the area is convenient. The hotel itself has a sushi place, Chinese food, Texas BBQ, and a McDonald's 1 minute walk away. You can take a public transportation for less than 3 Egyptian Pounds from the hotel to the happenings of Alexandria. The hotel is inside a huge palace garden and you can spend 2 hours exploring the area, walk along the beach with many cafes and restaurants just outside the palace. Alexandria library, the castle, and major shopping areas are within 30 minutes drive. The traffic is better in Alexandria than Cairo but it's still bad. It is a relaxed and modern city. The train station is also nearby if you take the train to or from Cairo. I highly recommend the hotel and the city.

Excellent hotel .excellent view .everything was great the view the cleanness of the hotel overall.only the parking which was with fees they left the car uncleaned for the 3 days we were there although it's included in the price of parking as mentioned by receptionist. But in general I will be back .it's my favorite hotel

Nice location, sea front, clean rooms. Staff are ok, not the greatest, but helpful. Needs more activities special water sports ... Spa level is very basic, not even for 3 star hotel ... Not a lot of options.

Nice hotel.
Nice hotel with good sea (bay) view and private beach. The hotel is situated inside a large park, which is very good for taking walks without getting into the crowded streets of Alex. Our room was facing east (on the bay), which has very good views. However, there was no breath from the sea and the weather was hot.
