Manchester (MAN) to Buffalo (BUF)
4.8/10 (191 reviews)
I arrived at 2 PM to check in and they told me my room was being cleaned and that check-in is at 3pm. I returned around 4 pm and they asked me if I received a message from Expedia. SUCH COWARDS! They wouldn’t even say what the message said. I opened up my email and 26 minutes prior. There was a cancellation message that they could accommodate me. I read it aloud and I said does that mean you don’t have a room for me even though when I came at two, you said you were cleaning it. They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and just kept saying that they didn’t have a room. They were slimy and clearly gave my room away for a better rate. But it was probably a blessing in disguise because the grounds were absolutely disgusting and the hotel looks abandoned and nothing like the pictures. There’s a big empty pool with junk in it. And the whole building looks like it’s falling down. It seems like it’s a family business and they function on being deceiving.

"My sister and I like this LaQuinta because it’s clean and it’s halfway through our trip, so we use it both ways. The breakfast is satisfactory. I was disappointed to hear that my favorite staff member, Lisa, had her hours cut. She is such a pleasant desk person. It is nice to have staff that speak ..."
