"We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mark and Sue’s beautiful gîte for two months, and it was nothing short of exceptional. They thought of **everything**—fresh towels, bed linen, kitchen essentials, high-speed WiFi, and even a TV to make our stay as comfortable as possible. While organizing the purchase of our new home just minutes away, their kindness and local knowledge were invaluable. It was a very NEW and very clean room - everything felt new and nice, it was like the shower hadn't even been used before. The room is a little bit small and the area (though close to the train station) doesn't have many places to get food nearby - and as there is no food after 10pm at the hotel, I found this difficult as I arrived at 9.30. Breakfast was small in choice but very nicely presented and tasty and the breakfast area is lovey. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would choose...

A great find. Stopped over en route from Roscoff ferry (3hrs away) to S France. It's only a few mins from A81 leaving at junc4 & easy to rejoin at junc3. Chance is a pretty village with a beautiful park next to the river Pritz which the Manoir overlooks from a great height. The Manoir its self is beautifully restored 13 Century building, we had the room on the first floor and could not find fault. The hosts were friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. They put our cool...

Logis Hotel Beau Rivage

Mayenne

10/10 Excellent

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is small, more like a restaurant with rooms and is very traditional in feel. It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk into the town of Mayenne along the river. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Staff are polite and helpful. There is a small bar near to the reception area, although beer is expensive. It is a great place to sit outside with a drink, watching the wildlife on...
