Alderwood Manor Holidays from £827

The staff were overly accommodating and extremely nice except for one person but the rest of the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, cozy and accommodating! Roof top hang outs at night are a great place to unwind. I really loved this place and will definitely be staying again. Only problem I had was we showed up at almost 4 on the dot for our room and were told they needed more time to have our room ready, I am disabled and was already uncomfortable from sitting in a car for 3 hours driving and also had an event to attend at 6pm when I arrived at my room. We came back around 4:50 or so and had to wait a bit and then finally got our room with an hour to get ready for the event…that means showering and makeup and getting dressed, being disabled that not something one just breezes thru. When my partner when to retrieve our luggage it took about another 15 minutes even more cutting into our time to get ready. Needles to say we were late for the event. But I must make it very clear the staff were extremely nice and accommodating, All in all I left an email where I was refunded some money for the first night.

The Mayflower Park Hotel was SUCH a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I also SO appreciate the diverse staff - it's clear that the Mayflower Park values people from all walks of life. The hotel is well-kept and clean, including the rooms, common spaces, and the sidewalk outside. We loved that there was always ice-cold water in the lobby, and appreciated the complimentary fresh-brewed coffee in the morning to jump-start our day. Our room had two queen beds, and we loved having four pillows on each bed! The mattresses were comfortable and sheets were cozy. I think a major highlight is the incredible strip of outlets that pretty much runs the circumference of the room, right above the molding -- what a brilliant idea! Vying for outlets in my group of 3 was never a thing. The amenities were lovely, and still held onto the old charm of the hotel. Being an older hotel, the air conditioning controls are a bit dated, and we couldn't tell if the air was actually getting colder when we turned it down. Also, the door to our bathroom fit real tight into the frame, and would sometimes get stuck. Those are really the only two things that could be improved upon. That being said, I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Seattle!

Clean room and location is perfect for walking around Seattle.

At the entrance right after valet parking, there is a step. While I was talking to the bellman, and moving back one step during the conversation, unfortunately my right leg landed on this uneven surface and immediately I felt pain at medial anterior aspect of my right knee. because I never thought it’s not flat surface. Later I found out, there is no any warning sign at eye level, just a yellow color tape on the step, however when you walk, you are not looking down and backwards, because you facing the hotel. I have to cancel my hiking plans at three national parks because of this injury. Hotel management, please add improvement, so no more guests will be injured again.
