Behind a Circle K gas station with lots of road noise, can hear neighbors talking, the extra locking mechanism besides the dead bolt was broken, towel rack broken/hanging on for dear life, weird paint spots on wLls, thin bedding, and all in all low quality and sketchy property. Front desk agent was nice enough to fully refund me aftrr only being there for about 20ish mins and being sketched out and dissatisfied. Staff was pleasant enough. It was the property that was not ok and I personally will never stay there.

Maintenance never came to change a light bulb. Took two days to get fresh towels. Asked to haver hand soap refilled, never happened. I had to lift the fromt door to close it.

Front desk staff was rude. We checked in and the first room we were given was already occupied. The second room they gave us had a hole in the wall and mold in the bathroom. Finally the third room nobody was in but it wasn’t super clean. We had a long day with lots of driving and it was unfortunate to deal with this that late at night. Each time we had to tell the front desk that there was a problem they weren’t very polite or nice about it. The hotel offered nothing for the issues and refused to refund us any amount. Travelers beware, skip this place and go somewhere else.

Door to room had clearly been busted in at some point and poorly "fixed", could see outside between door and door frame. Room was dirty, stains on sheets, sticky brown substance all over the floor. Parking lot was a disaster, garbage everywhere. People arguing loudly in the room next to ours. My wife and I did not feel safe. Front desk staff was super kind.

Not worth the money...Stay at La Quinta
I would have given the hotel 1 star but the breakfast was actually pretty good and it wasn't crowded. But the negatives: 1. strong odor in the room, it was't properly cleaned so they used gallons of Pine Sol, it reeked of that stuff. 2. dirty floors, I laid a towel on the floor briefly, picked it up and it was covered in dirt. Bad cleaning 3. hot water took a while to get going 4. homeless, drug addicts nearby 5. no pool, no jacuzzi. The pool I can understand but why not have the jacuzzi operable? You know 1000 mile drives, sore muscles and joints, need a hot tub, right? 6. unprofessional looking staff at check-in, with below par service. I asked for toiletries. A smart person would have ran them up to my room but this high school looking person didn't do it. I reached out to the manager with zero response. I could have stayed at La Quinta next door for an extra $5 and gotten SO MUCH MORE. that's it. thanks

Found a secret hole in the shower with another room behind the shower and really felt that invasion of privacy was compromised. Went to management and they were no compassionate and unmerciful that the privacy of my room had been compromised. Real Shame Red Roof is allowing.

Hard bed, very loose toilet seat. We always like to stay at the Red Roof Inn in Albuquerque when passing through, but this time they put us in skid row because the room was very uncomfortable and ran very hot.

You get what you pay for
The only good thing about the hotel is that they don't charge if you've got a pet. There's homeless people everywhere and the condition of the room was pretty bad. Plan on bringing your own water unless you're ok with tap water.

The continental breakfast was nice. Very clean in the sleeping room. Pets allowed a plus but $100 deposit. Area very sketchy. Wrought iron fencing around hotel daunting. Had to drive around block to figure out how to get in. Did not feel safe and felt even worse when I read a posted warning from police department about removing all belongings from car. In my case the car had belongings for a six month stay in AZ which could not be removed. Hotel good. Neighborhood bad. Albuquerque has high crime rate.
