I also inquired about switching to a room with two queen beds and was told none were available, but I was offered what was described as an “ideal rate” for another room for two nights. While we were at breakfast, I received a call from the hotel stating they had charged an additional $600 for one night, and the desk representative did not honor the two-night arrangement as discussed. Had I known this, I would have stayed in the original room. To make matters worse, the room itself was unacceptable. There was blood on the pillow upon arrival, the room smelled strongly of smoke despite being a non-smoking room, and there was visible mold and mildew in the bathroom. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience due to both poor communication and lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend staying here." The first night before heading out to dinner, I went to take a shower and noticed the shower gel was completely empty. I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, and while they did provide bar soap, I personally prefer shower gel. Unfortunately, the dispenser was still not refilled, and there was also no shampoo available for my morning shower. Breakfast was another letdown. On Sunday morning, the waffle batter was empty, which was disappointing since that’s something we were looking forward to. We ended up rushing out on road to search for breakfast. For a stay that cost around $600, I was expecting the bare minimum necessities to be available and maintained, but that wasn’t the case. Just a few small details could have made a big difference in the overall experience."
