"The house was clean but an odd layout with the spaces very broken up; no where to eat together and hard for 5 people to lounge in the same room comfortably. There are a few maintenance and basic supply updates the host could make for a better overall experience. Location was remote and quiet."

"Very roomy place. Enjoyed stay, even with the bad weather. Quiet location. Unfortunately no cell service and no land line, so you have to drive in town to communicate with property management. All the staff at Adventure Pro Outdoors were super nice and helpful."

"Cute,nice and cozy. To many wasp and bees something needs to be done to get rid of them. Also would be nice to have a fire pit outside the caboose. Besides that had a great time."

"The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside."

"The communication with property owner wasn’t great. I got to the property and he never sent me a code to unlock the door. I had to drive over an half-hour away to get cellphone service to message the owner for the code. Place is as pictured but there were flying lady bugs all over."

"This was such a quaint little place. It had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom is updated and the beds were very comfortable. And there is the amazing assortment of salt and pepper shakers also. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Cottage was just as advertised and in a great location, clean and comfy. Ice cube trays and a lighter for a fire would have been nice to have provided. Unfortunately i didn't realize there was no lighter until i was already back to the cottage on my last night. I left firewood for the next guest instead of having a cozy evening fire."

"Beautiful location and plenty of things to do with teens. Nice lake, hot tub, the setting is beautiful, plenty of space and seating for a large family. Lots of towels provided and a nice laundry provided too. The lower bathroom needs some love and there are some minor repairs needed to make this property a smidge better but I would book again."

"I will first say that I have been spoiled by REALLY good cottages/cabins over the years, so my opinions are probably skewed. Overall, this was a pretty good stay. When we first arrived and walked in, it seemed a bit creepy, I think just because of all of the antique furniture and decor. However, with that said, it does title itself a "Celtic Cottage," and the decor matches that description. Something I wish I would have noticed in the description beforehand is just how small it is. I traveled...
