The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly swattter would be nice at the house. Great house. Host was responsive. There an iPad behind the dining room table attached to the wall with house information.
