Lakehouse Akolele 19 Flower Circuit- Wallaga Lake Bermagui

Enter this property and instantly feel at home. The tasteful renovation and water views have given a tranquil & spacious feeling to the property for you to enjoy.

This house is located high up on a point, overlooking Wallaga Lake and the coastline and the tropical, fully fenced garden is perfect for your beloved dog to run around in!

The house layout is as follows:

Lounge/Dining/Kitchen- walk into the lounge area and look out the window toward the stunning Wallaga Lake. The comfortable lounges sit in front of a slow combustion fire and gas heater. Around the corner the dining area also looks out over the lake and the fully equipped kitchen gives you the option to stay in and cook with the comforts of a microwave, dishwasher and more. There is also a sunroom with a lounge to sit and read or just bask in the sun!

Bedroom One- has a Queen size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a sitting chair. The bedroom opens up to a lovely, sunny sitting area with cane chairs and a flat screen television.

Bedroom Two- has a Queen size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, dressing table and a built in wardrobe.

Laundry- with washing machine and dryer.

Enjoy the aspect from the beautiful deck throughout the day. Downstairs there is a gas BBQ to be used whilst in the garden area. This is the perfect location to get away from it all!

3kms to the National Trust heritage village of Central Tilba, and 6kms to beautiful Bermagui with it's cafes, marina and shops.

Linen is Not supplied please bring your own Sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels.
Linen hire is available by prior arrangement.

Dogs are welcome inside house. The property has 1.2m high fences. Limit of 1 (one) dog unless by prior written arrangement. The holiday occupancy may be cancelled immediately without refund if there are noise complaints.

Street parking only. No boat parking available.

Not suitable for fishing groups.

Smoking not permitted.

Security Bond Applies - Guest Registration Form to be Completed and Returned prior to Arrival.

A great property. Dog friendly and he loved it! Aircon only in one section of house, but the weather wasn't too hot! Overall, would recommend!

Akolele hideaway

Great little house and dog friendly. Set amongst the trees and only 5 mins drive to the beach at Camel Rock. We’ll come again.

Lovely house perfect location

Just a bit of a hassle to drive to Bermuda to pick up the key and drop it off too. Wasn’t mentioned in the original listing. But managers were super friendly and I could arrange to leave the key on the table rather then drop off which would have added 40 minutes to the drive back to Canberra

Old property that is pet friendly

Thus property needs a really good clean.the whole house had an odorous smell omitting from the bathroom which went through the whole house...the floor trap was full of dirt and hair. The kitchen sink was dirty and dull...the floors were also gritty the lounges were grubby and uncomfortable and the bed had fleas ...there were spiders on the ceiling in the shower that were there for quite a while. The back yard was overgrown and needed a good clean up. The path down to the lake is dangerous. We went out every day as we couldn't stand the smell...my little yorkie is crate trained and won't go on furniture and was scratching. He doesn't have fleas as he is on tick and flea medication to avoid them..he was the lucky one. We left a day early and advised the real Estate agent...they advise they would have changed the property..wish we advised them earlier. The whole house needs demolishing full of asbestos and smells. The back landing was tiled and really needed a good scrub...looked like it hadn't even been touched in years...could not recommend Sorry.

Peaceful setting in a spacious cottage

Great location, comfortable furnishings and well stocked. Has been a comfortable and loved home but now in need of some repairs. Great views and lots of windows but the fly screens are in need of repair so many mosquitoes can get into the house. Has access through the backyard to the lake but overgrown. An hours work could make it safer and easier.

A quiet location

The house overlooks Wallaga Lake, but trees limit the view. The house is well equipped but difficult to heat in winter. We would have appreciated an electric blanket. Make sure that you have brought food with you as the nearest shops and cafes are in Bermagui, 25 minutes drive away.

A scenic position with everything we needed. Tastefully decorated. We enjoyed walking along the lake, visiting Bermagui and swimming in the ocean. We'd love to stay again!

The location of the Lakehouse is fantastic. Close enough to everything yet far enough away. The hidden trail out the back to the lake was such a blessing and the grapefruit on the tree was abundant and very much appreciated. We felt such at home from the moment we walked inside. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

nice house, but wi'll not go back

We stayed 3 days at the property, which is nice and well furnished. However the real estate agent complained about my hair in the shower and dog fur in the house even if the property is listed as "dogs welcome inside". As required we covered all the furnitures with sheets that we always bring with us when traveling with our dog. It took us multiple calls to get the refund of the $500 bond and we got it in full only after a full week. The RE stated that for future stays we would potentially incur a penalty on our bond. Next time we'll choose another place.

4/5 would have got a 5 but our old dog had a few issues going down the stairs. 5/5 if it had been on one level but then you wouldn't have the spectacular views. Thank you for keeping this a dog friendly accomodation. It's just gorgeous.

A really omfortable funky cottage thoughtfully and tastefully decorated but not too posh to relax in. Lake views through the trees a lovely balcony a great little garden fully fenved for small dogs. Everything you could possible want for human and canine. Totally relaxing.

Great House

We stayed at the Lake House for 7 days , as part of a 3 month road trip with our dogs. The house was very clean and tidy and was stocked with everything you would need. The yard was well fenced for the dogs and it was a very short walk down a track to the lake. Would recommend this house to anyone.
