If Ajaccio is the most touristic city of Corsica de Sud, with its modern districts and large roads, its downtown has managed to preserve its authenticity and its air of small Mediterranean village. One of the first things to do in Ajaccio is to get lost in its labyrinth of the past. Out of time, full of charm, entangled with alleys shaded by colorful facades and palm trees, the old town of Ajaccio is romantic at will. During your walk, you will discover the citadel, the ramparts, Place Foch and that of Casone, the imperial chapel.
