There was plenty of room for our family of six and the interior appears to have been recently remodeled. The hosts were very gracious and made several accommodations for us that improved the comfort of our stay. We were within walking distance of the historic old town of Aix and this location was a convenient base for exploring Provence in our vehicle. The house was clean, comfortable, and very roomy for us. The kitchen was well stocked. Showers and hot water were all ideal. The whole property is charming and safe, and we were able to park our rental car there and walk easily to vieille Aix. Daniel and Michelle responded quickly to every question. Daniel and Michele's home was truly a home away from home. It was beautiful--with loads of space, comfortable beds, luxurious bath towels, a well-appointed kitchen, and a delightful porch for outdoor dining. The layout of the three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked well for our family. The first floor bedroom has an en suite bath, and the master and smaller upstairs bedrooms share a bath. The location was perfect in that we could walk to the Aix markets and restaurants. Additionally, the town of Aix is near a number of wonderful towns and cities, so that day trips were easy. Daniel and Michele were gracious hosts. They were available to answer questions, but also respected our privacy. This was truly a "home away from home" experience. ##### Virginia A.
