In this stone building, the restored building bodies are now one whole. Thanks to its exposure, it takes advantage of the light from sunrise to sunset. The park with Mediterranean species offers the beneficial shade of the umbrella pines. The large swimming pool and the pétanque field promise moments of appreciated relaxation. Campagne Chastel was perfect. We loved everything about it, especially having wine and cheese in their beautiful yard. We enjoyed this property tremendously. We used it as our base camp while we explored Aix and the surrounding areas each day. They helped us plan and had lots of information on the local area. Lots of outdoor space and pool was beautiful. Philippe and Beatrice are kind, welcoming (they baked us a cake!), and very helpful with suggestions for what to see and where to eat; they truly treated us like family. Before our stay, questions were answered promptly. The apartment is clean and comfortable and attractive. Just a few minutes drive to get into Aix-en-Provence, where you can park and explore the charming town by foot. Aix itself is well-situated for exploring Provence, being fairly central and not far from Avignon, Cassis, the Luberon, Arles, etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Provence. ##### Kathy D. We had really fantastic hosts in Phillippe & Beatrice. They are really wonderful and warm people and made us feel very at home. They gave us lots of advice and local guidance. The House was beautiful, quiet and kept really well. Everything was clean we had all the supplies we needed. We had all the necessary facilities and felt very comfortable.
