In this stone building, the restored building bodies are now one whole. Thanks to its exposure, it takes advantage of the light from sunrise to sunset. The park with Mediterranean species offers the beneficial shade of the umbrella pines. The large swimming pool and the pétanque field promise moments of appreciated relaxation. The Chastel Campaign lives to the rhythm of the cultural events that enliven Aix and its region: music festivals in Aix, La Roque d'Anthéron, painting exhibitions, local markets. Philippe and Beatrice are kind, welcoming (they baked us a cake!), and very helpful with suggestions for what to see and where to eat; they truly treated us like family. Before our stay, questions were answered promptly. The apartment is clean and comfortable and attractive. Just a few minutes drive to get into Aix-en-Provence, where you can park and explore the charming town by foot. Aix itself is well-situated for exploring Provence, being fairly central and not far from Avignon, Cassis, the Luberon, Arles, etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Provence. ##### Kathy D.
