"I have this place a two star review because it had a clean room, clean lobby and good location across from three restaurants. What was not mentioned in the brochure was that the rooms of the lower floor are extremely noisy due to how near they are to the lobby, kitchen and elevators. Our room in particular was also flanked by outside AC compressors that would turn on and off independently and we could clearly hear them adding to the noise. Another annoying fact was that we had to ask the front desk to help us with the television remote control was not fully compatible to that television and had to be turned on and off manually as well as search for the Source. The front desk did come and help us with that but what I thought was awkward what is that? It was treated as normal. Another annoying fact was that they charge five dollars for parking? Why am I being charged for parking? This isn’t a resort or a resort fee. I’m in the middle of the woods? Does my room not cover parking? At the end of it all I could’ve dealt with it except for the noise. Our AC was very antiquated as well and I tried to turn on the fan to run continuously so I has to drown out the combined noise from the hall, but It couldn’t do that and when it did turn on and off, it was annoyingly loud."

"We just stopped overnight on our way to Charleston. The staff was great, friendly and professional. I loved the breakfast. The door to our room would not close very easily, but we did get it latched so just stayed in that room. We reported the problem to the front desk when we checked out."

"This placed looked like an abandoned building taken over by homeless people. They totally did not expect us when we TRIED to check in. When we went to the room, the door was open, the mattress was sideways on the bed with no linens what so ever. I told the manager that this was nowhere near what was advertised. She apologized and immediately offered a full refund, which we immediately accepted. However, at this date, over a month later, I have not yet received any refund. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS."

"We stayed on Mother’s Day and reserved a table in the restaurant. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, we were told that they don’t know how long it will take to get food. No apologies from anyone. next morning’s breakfast was a joke… really bad. We and our friends will never stay there again ever."
