"This was a magical place to stay. I loved the standalone bath and the log burning stove. The views were incredible. I loved the touches of board games being available in the rooms and we enjoyed a game of Scrabble. The room felt like pure luxury and the taste in furniture and decor was impeccable - loved the tartan blanket company throw. We will definitely be back for a future special occasion!"

"This is a wonderfully restored blackhouse that was renovated with an addition that houses the kitchen, bath and entry hall. The great room and bedroom are very spacious as they take up the blackhouse space. The skylights add plenty of light and wood stove makes it a cozy environment. "For birders,photographers and wildlife enthusiasts the house was perfect. Remote location but waking up to see deer grazing near the house was lovely. Proximity to a breathtaking beach was much enjoyed. Warm comfortable and well equipped. Our only quibble was the beds which are small and very hard."
