"Great location. Lots of walkable conveniences. Restaurants, 7/11, Pilates, cafes etc was super convenient there was a paid laundry room on site. After a week in HK, we needed to do a load onward after to next destination. Really appreciated this! Breakfast was also very nice selection surprisingly. Unlike the Holiday Inns in North America with decent selection but not as much offerings in Singapore! Impressive"

"Hotel was approximately 15 mins walk from Paya Lebar MRT Station (change at Tanah Marah from Changi airport). Arriving at 9 am I expected to leave my luggage at Reception but was told I could have my room straight away which was a bonus as usual check in time is 3pm. I was able to sight see and return to room around 2pm for a rest and shower. Lots of affordable, interesting restaurants for dinner close to hotel. The Receptionist organised a taxi to the airport (cost around $22 S) at 9pm which arrived promptly. As this was only a short stay between two long flights, the hotel was ideal, clean with good facilities and much cheaper than an airport hotel. Room small and no window (less noise?), but good value. I would probably pay more for more comforts if on a longer stay. As an older woman travelling alone, I felt safe in the area and appreciated the 24 hour helpful staff on Reception."

"Hotel 81 Changi suited my needs very well. I was passing through Singapore, having a 30 hour layover. My room was not large but was clean and quiet. The hotel is located about 400 metres from a metro station which in turn is about 20 minutes from the airport. The front desk staff were very helpful."
