The rooms are lovely, clean and include all amenities one could desire (including and especially air-conditioning). The staff is friendly, polite and most helpful. A restaurant (Michelin starred!) and cafe are located on site. We took advantage of the very reasonable fixed price menu and enjoyed an incredible dinner in a truly magical setting. The grounds are lovely as well with a pool that we were unfortunately not able to take advantage of because there’s just too much to see and do in the Pays Basque!! Well located hotel for a short stay in the Pyrenees. The Restaurant has a Michelin starred restaurant, and although there is a bistro, it is only open in the evening which is a shame as if staying for more than one night, you do not necessarily want to eat a full meal all the time.
