Great place to relax and enjoy life.
Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was great, the rooms super clean, the food was excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing and agreeable. On the negative side there was no document featuring the services available such as laundry, restaurant hours , gym etc. TV. Channels are very limited and no lifeguard at the beach.

I enjoyed 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. Beach and property were immaculately maintained. Lots of people at the beach which was to be expected. Food was delicious at both the Italian restaurant as well as the seafood restaurant. Breakfast buffet had something for everyone.

Stella di Mare is very convenient resort if you live in Cairo. Good for few days during the week or even just weekend. Food is great and staff are so friendly. Can’t ask for more for quick vacation.

Noise Noise Noise
This hotel is noisy, I have stayed here several times now and asked for a quiet room each time as I work early in the morning. However, each time my stay has been so noisy, this hotel doesn’t have any quiet areas. This hotel, even though it has extensive grounds decides to hold functions and events right under paying guests balconies. Don’t come here if you want quiet, it’s a noisy hell hole!

No quite rooms in this hotel.
This hotel is very noisy which ever room you stay in. One side is the pool and restaurants noisy all day and evening. The other side is the garden, which is used for various corporate events during the day and evening. Don’t stay here if you’re getting up early for work.

Over crowded at weekends, noisy, food repetitive, rooms not of a clean standard, bed not changed regularly, toiletries of a poor standard and not always replaced. Had food poisoning one day from restaurant. Entrance staff are rude and the whole place smells like cigarettes.

My review of the Grand hotel after a 3 week stay.
Hotel is ok but a bit worn in places, the air conditioning is noisy in the rooms and the cleaning staff need prompting to do simple things like changing the linen. The whole hotel smells of cigarettes as smoking is allowed everywhere except the restaurant. Be aware, this hotel is very busy and noisy at the weekends. The noise seems to travel and customers don’t seem to consider other guests. Also, at the weekends the restaurant is overcrowded and tables are at a premium. The restaurant is not large enough for purpose and the food is same same every day. Waiters are always quick to clear the tables, even if you have not finished your meal. Also, god forbid if you leave your table to get some thing from the buffet, your likely to either have nothing left on your table or someone else sitting at your table when you return. Overall, for a short stay in the week it’s ok but weekends at this hotel are hell and should be avoided if possible.

Food is great and with high quality. Room had a great view overseeing mountains and the Red Sea. Friendly staff too. What I didn’t like is the hotel policy allowing smoking in closes areas (i.e lobby) when kids are around.

This is far from a 5 star hotel. We were shocked at the poor service, lack of information given at check-in, condition of the buffet at all meal times, no wifi in rooms even though it was supposed to be included, etc etc. Overall appalling stay for a supposed 5 star experience.

I’m well traveled with highest loyalty programs levels in many hotel chains including Expedia. This hotel has Poor hygiene with poorly selected, poorly trained, & poorly managed front-line staff. unclean/over-worn bed sheets with stains! Room was dusty when i checked in. no HACCP consideration for food. I had food poisoning when I ate dinner there. It ruined my stay! U cannot bring any outside food to the hotel. Complete rip-off☹️

beach is good and pool is okay....everything else rubbish meaning rooms, service, cleanliness. Food is acceptable though. but can you tolerate cockroaches in the room?

Big problem on pool because of swimming suit for men and women as I'm muslim... So no long shorts for men, no borkini for women.. It was very bad although all hotel arround this hotel dosen't apply this restriction. I will not go there again if this policy still applied, and I will advice my friends to do so

Over-rated
This hotel is over-rated. I would rate the nearby Jaz Little Venice as much better. Stella di Mare reception kept us waiting when checking in and with live and loud entertainment in the evening it was impossible to conduct a quiet conversation anywhere as the entertainer had been placed such that the sound was audible everywhere.

Very nice beach. Great for the kids as it is shallow for a very big distance. However, every time we went early, the crows were loud and annoying.
