Great location , hotel could do well a spruce up and air con would help the hot rooms

My first room was dirty and had an odor. In all fairness, they did change my room once requested (how about have the rooms clean initially?). The hotel lobby, bar, etc were nice. But, they nickel and dime you for everything.

Excellent staring in San Francisco. Bartlett Hotel has a very good location, and amenities. Everything is easy in there!!! The best choice we made!

What an excellent place to stay in San Francisco! Thankfully there are two dedicated guest check-in parking spaces out front. Check-in was the fastest and easiest of any motel or hotel I’ve ever stayed in. A quick photo ID to confirm, a signature, and she handed me the key card and I was off. Very friendly also. Room was nicely updated, we had a two queen room and it was cozy for the three of us. A little rearrangement of the chairs helped us move around the room more easily. Bathroom was much bigger than expected. All updated as well. Shower was great, plenty of water pressure and hot water. This hotel is well kept and they take pride in their appearance and maintaining the exterior. One reason for choosing this motel was the included parking. I’ll tell you that the driveways are very narrow and parking is limited. We first tried to park in the basement and that was full as another car was finding out. We backed out and went up the driveway and found one spot marked “small car only” well I made it work and squeezed carefully into that spot. Here is the cherry on top. Before checking out I enquired if we could pay for parking as we wanted to sightsee and would prefer leaving the car in their parking lot. She told me I was welcomed to leave the car all day without any further charge! What?!? Really! That is what will make me come back to stay again. Fantastic and unexpected response. Thank you! Great location too.
