Winter season:
Ideally located 2km from the resort of Montalbert/La Plagne (link between the Paradiski area and Les Arcs, one of the largest ski areas in Europe with 430km of slopes).
The snow front from the La Plagne Montalbert gondola (1250 m above sea level, village and family resort in the La Plagne area) is less than 5 minutes away by car or free shuttle (departure 300 m from the gîtes).
You you will have access to more than 200 km of slopes.
Many other activities await you: dog sledding, snowshoeing, bobsleigh descent (Olympic track), cross-country skiing
cross-country skiing... but also walks in the middle of nature or heritage visits...

Summer season:
Privileged location for hikers between the Vanoise National Park with its magnificent hikes to mountain lakes and glaciers, and the Beaufortain massif.
Near the gîte, themed trails for children; the Biodiversity trail or the Enchanted Alpine pastures. But also, a shaded cycle path along the Isère, a swimming point on Macot, water activities, cani-rando, mountain biking, climbing on Notre Dame du Pré.
Other sports, fun, aerial and white water activities in the famous surrounding resorts: La Plagne, Les Arcs, Bourg St Maurice... Ideal for cyclists to cross the mythical passes of Haute-Tarentaise, Beaufortain and with the Italian border!

We live just above our cottages and will try to be both available but also discreet according to your expectations.

La Plagne Montalbert is part of the Paradiski area in the same way as the following resorts; Montchavin, Les Coches, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Village, Belle Plagne, Aime 2000, Champagny, Vallandry, Les Arcs.
The Aime La Plagne TGV station is located 6 km from the village of Longefoy.
As close as possible, you have 2 airports: Geneva and Lyon St Exupéry: allow about 2 hours by car.
