"Honestly, the hotel was very nice, and the staff was great. Found out the pool was not open by trying to go to the pool and it was not filled, which is unfortunate because I stayed in a hotel rather than my trip venue specifically to have a pool, so that was a disappointment. Housekeeping was great, breakfast was great and ready early. Expedia was going to require packing and relocating to receive my rewards back to compensate for the lack of pool, and when I complained about the pool to the hotel directly, they were very accommodating."

"I booked this property two months in advance of my stay. I received an email from VRBO titled "the keys to your stay" on Saturday before a Tuesday check in. I didn't read it carefully because I had never had a problem before. On Tuesday evening, I arrived to check in and found that the email didn't include a code and said to contact the host. I sent the host a message in the app and called the number in the notes. After waiting 20 minutes, I called VRBO customer service who said they had to try to contact the host. no surprise, they were also unable to contact the host. While I was waiting for a supervisor to handle the situation, the host finally called me back and said the information had been sent earlier that day when I booked the unit - a confusing statement considering I booked two months in advance. I didn't have any information in my VRBO app message section which I had already sent a screen shot of. She resent the code then and I was able to get in. It all worked out but was definitely stressful considering I was sitting in the dark on the curb with two teens. The home was nice enough but definitely bare bones. There was a keurig but not even enough coffee pods for me to have one each morning - good thing the teens didn't need coffee! There was only one laundry detergent pod provided and they asked that the towels be laundered upon departure. There were only 4 towels for three of us for five nights. Luckily I had brought laundry detergent to do a mid stay wash."
