Hotel C Stockholm

10/10 Excellent

"The Hotel is next to the Arlanda express and very handy to get to and fro the airport, yet you will not hear a single train. The rooms are small but we only used the room as a base. We walked from the hotel all around the city centre and Gamla Stan. The harbour for boat trips is a 20 minute walk. The red bus stop is around the corner from the hotel. The tram stop is a great blocks away as is the supermarket and off licence store. There is an Ice bar on the ground floor. Top go earlier in the day and get the place to yourself. The staff are friendly and professional and speak English."

"Perfect place to stay to get around Stockholm easily for a city break! It's about a three minute walk from the Arlanda Express and Stockholm Central so super easy from the airport. Rooms are compact and clean, everything you need for a short stay. The bathrooms were really nice, huge powerful shower which was great! We could walk to loads of really nice restaurants and bars nearby, all in about a 10-15 min radius, would recommend :)"

"I will quote my travel diary: Scandic Go - 2 nights. Inexpensive, conservation minded hotel with basics and a coffee shop. Had a bit of trouble figuring how to turn on lights on arrival but it only required the room card in a slot. Duvet set up in classic Scandinavian style. Coffee shop is nice and open until midnight. Love the shower that drains into the floor. Felt very comfortable here."

"Hotel Birger Karl is welcoming with very helpful and thoughtful staff; my room was relatively (double) spacious and well designed with contemporary decor and tub in which one can soak as well as a good shower and it was very clean. On the main floor there was a comfortable lounge and waiting area and...the breakfast was incredible with fresh fruits, yogourt, different breads, a selection of hot items, cereals, espresso and much more. I had one dinner there and while the menu offerings are small, the ingredients were high quality and everything was expertly prepared (&generous portions)."
