Peaceful quite getaway Lovely people Would definitely come back
Cottage is just perfect with everything you may need including fantastic garden. We had an amazing week exploring the area, been lucky with the weather allowing us to see breathtaking views wherever we went. Seen and heard deer every day, large window in the living area is perfect for wildlife watching. Owners are lovely and very helpful.
Extra bonus was an aurora show on the last night of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Riverside View is an absolutely beautiful cottage and home from home with everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. The views from every window are outstanding.Cottage was exceptionally clean and very cosy with the huge log burner. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The cottage is in quite a remote area, part of the charm, but there is a well stocked village store in nearby Acharacle. We visited out of season so many local attractions were closed however the local scenery and wildlife; Ardtoe beach, Castle Teoram, Loch Sunart, seals, deer and stags, eagles and otters were plentiful. To top our holiday off we saw the Northern Lights from the cottage garden. Will we be back? Of course!

We had 2 lovely quiet weeks over the holiday period - the first week was very wet & windy, the river was extremely high, but we were nice & cosy in the cottage. The second week was a lot better and enjoyed walks & runs around Kentra bay to singing sands & around the castle. As like a lot of the Highlands there's not a lot open in the winter months, but the local store is ok for the essentials, we fully expected this though. The cottage it's self was nice and cosy & the owners kept us topped up with fire wood as the burner is the main source of heating. We had no problems lighting it each morning. There isn't anything extra that we could have needed - everything we needed & a nice welcoming box ðŸ‘I think we will be back as it's a lovely area with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the country side & wildlife

Second visit to Riverview, and it was as perfect as the first time.
Second visit to Riverview, and it was as perfect as the first time. Perfect hosts too!
Perfect accommodation for a relaxing getaway, hosts so friendly and nearby if needed but not intrusive at all. Everything required within the property, with small additional tabletop freezer which is very handy as bringing own supplies is recommended but there is a small well stocked village store nearby.
