"We had stayed at a competitor facility in Exmore previously and were expecting more of the same. The overall quality of the Hampton was a surprising step above! The only drawback was the absence of a refrigerator in our room where we had hoped we might store certain medicines."

"The pictures on the website are exactly what is there. The area is great for 2 people. I could not imagine having many people int the bungalow. The shower is fantastic."

"Everything was great, from an excellent experience while checking in to the high quality of the rooms to the breakfast that they served through the checkout process. Could not have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to going back."

"Stayed here for 4 nights, Checking in through a phone call and Housekeeping checking on us 1 time was the extent of staff interaction. We got a room with a kitchenette and honestly it was very helpful. Small and definitely used but not dirty. There were a few flies but it’s Chincoteague so it’s not surprising. The weather was pretty nasty and the hotels driveway was completely flooded but we had a safe and dry place to stay. The beds were perfect, I love a firm bed. Really the only complaint is I wish they provided kitchen utensils, so I didn’t have to bring them. Looks like they are going to be doing some upgrades or refurbishing the rooms. Definitely gonna come back next year."

"We took 2 rooms during a road trip, arriving close to midnight with our extended family of 6. We only stayed one night, mainly to rest, and overall it served that purpose very well. On the positive side, the place was clean, The beds were comfortable, and it was a very good value for money. We were able to get a good night’s rest after a long drive. The only downside was the noisy air conditioning, which made it a bit less comfortable during the night. Overall, it was a good short stay and met our basic needs for a stopover (at that budget price!)"
