The checking-in process was disappointing. Front desk claimed ignorance of our booking and payment when we showed up. Waited over 30 minutes while they made telephone calls to the booking agent before this matter was sorted out. The room was spacious and comfortable. Room service was very poor. The hotel selects a standard menu for breakfast each day and presented that to guests without checking their preference, in the guise of 'complementary breakfast'. Hotel staff ignored the 'do-not-disturb' sign on the door and knocked repeatedly on the door to present breakfast that we did not ask for. Though we registered two guests in the room in our booking, the hotel offered one 'complimentary breakfast', while we had to pay for the other plate each day. We ordered two bottled of water at 11.30pm one night and was told the bar was closed for the day, Thus, we slept thirsty and de-hydrated. Very good garden bar with a very dedicated and efficient waitress.
